:biggrin: thanks,yes theres so much satisfaction to be had in doing mods yourself,if it doesnt work,ill work on mk2,im pretty confident it will work,ill be addind a small second radiator with electric fan(maybe a computer fan??)so if i have too much water flow i dont think it will be a problem.seeyaz soon,and happy xmas,keep it locked :biggrin:

so,ive epoxy resined my pump housing so as to block off the old through the case water way,and made a new pump exit funnel,i just need to replicate the original pump cover from aluminium and cut a hole in it and weld my funel to it,this way i can direct the water to the front of the engine and up to the now reversed cyl head. no more dropping the water to remove side case!!!

http://s355.photobucket.com/albums/r469/scoobyhunter/ ive been making my own sideways thrust water pump so i can modify the old pump cover with a 1.5" water outlet to feed to the front of the head(because the head is now backwards) and also to do away with the crap" through the cases" original way where you have to drop the water if the case needs to come off.im going to be epoxying the wasted areas around the pump and reshaping behind to give tighter tollerances so the pump will be more efficient.what do you guys think?

hmmmm,370? is it worth sacrificing my bores for 20cc? i think ill save my pennys and get a mono block.the zeeltronic box,do you use the original red and the green wires from the stator to run the cdi as well as a battery +? thanks for info :biggrin:

yes i would like more cubics too,ive got 2 choices to make,shees a longrod crank so i can either buy new longrod pistons for the pv cylinders and rebore them(at the moment there on second rebore),or use the pair of new 66mm blaster pistons which i have already then shee'l be circa 400cc but i then have no more rebore possabilitys and will need to resleave them,but then ill just go for even more cc's,is that a plan or should i not throw loads of rebore away?? cant decide,what would you do? im on a shoestring budgit too

thankyou,yes im going to make the pipes myself,ive downloaded a cone making software but im not sure yet what pipes to make,i might copy my 916 pipes? ill have to have a doubled back end pipe/s to get it all in,maybe i can loose some length by making the header pipes an 's' shape,then maybe i can get the pipe to sit straight backwards with the tailpipe/s pointing straight into the teeth of everyone behind!! lol.

yes its just for the "what the fcuk,your engine is backwards m8!" and to be different,ive got an rz gearbox and right side case with oil pump so i dont have to carry oil with me.(cos shees street legal).next on list is zeeltronic ignition combined ypvs in one box.i spent the weekend on my lath(its only small) making a lock up clutch cover,looks sweet,just got to get some plexi glass or something for the cover.

hello lads,ive started my reverse cylinder ypvs conversion on my street legal shee,heres a few pics,welds are rough,i havent ground them yet. im just not sure of the angle of the carbs though? ive got 36mm mikuni tm's and think they can be tilted quite a lot before the floats play havoc cant they? or should i turn the intakes upside down? will that mess up the fuel/air to the boost port? http://s355.photobucket.com/albums/r469/scoobyhunter/

ye is all taped n cable tied up.ive very carefully laid all power cables and earths,soldered all joints,im going to make n earth strap from engine to frame,and check my stator earth. but your right sounds as if there is an ac power short.could the stator be shorting out when the lights are off? maybe from a chipped copper wire? does anybody know whats the best thing to insulate chips on the stator windings?? thankyou.....
