ok,what with the green/yellow? leave open or what?at the moment ive got her to earth but ive got a sneeky feeling it shouldnt? maybe why she runs funny with lights off??

why could it be that when my headlights are on she runs fine and if i switch them off shee seems to be in tors program? something to do wit earth somewhere??? ive double checked and copperpasted every connection,shees wired at the moment with the red/black from cdi and black tp the keyswich and cdi and coil,orange to coil and green/yellow to earth. when the lights on,fine,when off..... TORS?? strange.

its a special mineral oil, you have to use it in the maguras,ive got a litre if you wanna pop over to england for some?? lol..

my red/black goes to my key and so does black.

i have no tors or sensors or cables.ive got the black wire already attached to the coil - and stator and battery ect.i cant suss it out and dont want to fry my cdi.i have a battery because im street legal with my shee,gotta run side lights/indicators/horn/speedo,ect ect, and need a battery system to juice it all.

hiya ive completly rewired my shee with battery ect,whats happening now is shees in park brake/tors bloody program,ticks over but wont rev up. from the cdi i have only used 3 wires, the orange to coil,the red/black to key switch,and the black to coil/key/stator/frame/battery.left over i have a black/white and a black/yellow,im sure these were left unconnected when i was using her before. any body know what im doing wrong???? thanks..... :biggrin:

ok got her sparkin,just need the black wire,the red/black and the orange wire. the rest can be junked,thanks anyway lads......

ok,my shee is 2003,no tors or park brake,200w stator(or 260,im not sure,its from electrex) with reg/rect and battery.complete new loom with just the green and the red,red/white and red/green from the stator to the cdi.from the cdi i have been using the red/black and the black wire to the key and the orange with a black spliced from the other black,now am i missing something? because i cant get a spark,now i may be wrong,the last time i ran her i could of been using the black/white wire as well from the cdi? i got myself very confused in rewiring it that im realy not sure how i wired it last time,ripped my old lom out in a temper and somehow it found itself amongst some rubbish and got took away by the dustcart!! lol lol,please help......... :biggrin:

keeping the water in the head untill its optimum temp gives the water in the rad time to cool.. dont rz 350 use thermostats?

no i mean a thermostat,it goes on the head and retains hot water in the head until it reaches the desired temp then opens and lets the pump exchange the water from the radiator,and so on....

has anybody installed a thermostat to there shee? im thinking about modding my head with a nice small scooter thermo and house.any ideas plz? good or bad idea?

you can take the original lens out of the headlight and replace it with a "bates" style lens,but you have to improvise how to fix it into the shees unit,i used a 2pk high strength glue,araldite will work. :biggrin:

have you rz guys just mated rz cylinders to banshee cases or have you got complete engine swap? its just im bidding on a gearbox cos i think itd be better for the street? bearing in mind im running 18/36 gearing now,what gearing do you think id have to run with an rz box?
