  1. thanks a lot,yeh its cool ridin the streets,but you guys get the best places off road to ride,the only way u can ride off road here is on a cross track,(most are shit prepared and ruined by the 2 wheelers),i wanna try the dunes!!!!
  2. with the mods i want to do to mine there aint no way its gonna make sense with standatd pipes(as ive said a few hundred times,on the streets over here ur not allowed to tune!) and would realy like to have the paul turner black pipes,black because they look pretty standard,compared to a big stamp "fmf",besides i dont like the sound of the fmfs,but how loud are the pts? how can i make em a bit tamer if they are loud? is there a hush kit available? anybody got any second hand pts???
  3. i forgot to say,when we installed it with the 165watt to the rear and the spare wire(100w) to the regulator and battery it gave if i remember right 4,2ampers cold.if that helps????????????
  4. ok i hope i can explain this enough for an educated answer ive got probs with a customers shee that we put a 265 watt stator in,ok so put a nice 10 amp battery in (has to be big cos a blinker system and h4 lights ect for street use) connected up as they say,and ran the spare wire (in my case was white)to a regulater and then to the battery,fine for a couple of days then the battery goes dead,so we decieded to use the 165 watt wire instead to the regulator,we have modified the light systed power in from the battery and the brake lights as well,so all lights are run over battery,an expert told us to use this little diode resister thing instead of the regulator,still the battery goes dead,i dont know,im at my nervs end cos im only a car mechanic but have had a lot to do with bikes/quads,i can build a complete light cable loom with hazzard light system ect but when it comes to things like this im lost,can someone maybe take the time to explain exactly how it should be wired up? what are we doing wrong??
  5. because you true it to .002 doesnt mean that both sides of the crank are exactly the same weight,what is when one side is 1 gram heavier?

  13. we at work build complete wireing looms for all our street regd quads that we sell,the best stuff tu use is heat shrink,and this selfwelding tape,its a rubber streatchy tape a bit like electrical tape but thicker and rubber,the total advantage is that i welds itsself together and does not come apart like electrical tape,after a few hours if its been tightly streatched on,there aint no way water can come in and the only way to get it off is to cut it off,im just puttin a new wireing loom on mine now cos the original is shit!!! realy highly recomend this tape,forget electrical tape its not ment for water and dirt and bike cleaner and oil ect,,any electrican should know what u mean if u ask em,if they dont then there a cowboy!

  15. ok heres the deal,i aint got much money,i tried a port job myself(mild port),but wasnt as successfull as i hoped to be.ive got a pair of good rd 400 rods and was thinking of puttin em in with blaster pistons,but that wont bring anything without makin it a stroker will it? as i understand it i will be puttin 5mm longer rods and 5mm shorter pistons so theoreticly is the same? am i understanding this correct? or can i expect a small performance change???

  18. a banshee aint no brigs and stratton motor!!! u should get someone to do it for u,as i understand a cylinder must be honed true to the crank, u need very acurate bore measurer,(acc to 0,001),for what it costs for a cylinder to be honed it aint worth fcukin up an expensive new top end.thats my thought anyway.

  24. blue,the thing that made me try it is,yesterday i was lookin through bansheezone gallery and saw one of my favourite shees,cant remember which gallery but its a blue one and looks a sort of matt blue as if someone glass blasted em,so i thought id try it.i like it lots i look for that pic now..........................
  25. dont know,i think itl depend if the dealers got any left,i think theyl all be bought by enthusiasts and locked away untill there worth a fortune,my boss has stored 5 shees all road registered (last month was the end of 2 strokes on the roads over here,i mean new registrations on the street)if uve got a shee that was or is registered then its ok,but no new regs allowed now.they will be worth double in 5 years here.
