  1. Don't worry, DEMON's bike has enough bling for the both of us.
  2. I better make sure I take something vital to the operation of his shee and then run like hell.
  3. I'll be there the night of the 17th after work. So like no ealier than 7:30 or so. Incidentally the 17th is also my Bday - so Blaine, I'll be helping myself to a single part from your bike. Please have the wrenches on standby.
  4. Oh darn, I have to take the boat to Havasu (hehe)? Now if I was really good I would have gotten it all ready to go right before Labor Day weekend- that way I could take the boat out on the lake with the new interior. I still have to build the interior before I can take it to Travis' fam. Captain's chair, wraparound seating, sun deck, built in subwoofer box...Not sure when I'll be starting that part of the project. Do they have fabric examples or something? I was gonna buy the captain's chair but I don't want it to not match the rest of the interior. Regardless, I've got the vinyl for the exterior on order so that should be going on hopefully soon. Before that I gotta pull the cyls off the shee and get em to Kevin - should be doing that over the weekend.
  5. If there's so many dead why aren't they showing any of it? After the Tsunami it seemed like they couldn't go 2 minutes without showing more bodies.
  6. I basically got the general idea from www.inboardtalk.com. After that I drew out a few designs on paper, then photoshopped it on a pic of the boat. Once satisfied there I started measuring and doing the math. So yeah I guess you could say its basically a copy of a $2300 Flight Control Tower, but with mods to the lower portion (bends are reversed on a F.C. tower). It's gonna be navy blue, same as the boat trim as soon as my graphics stuff comes in. Speaking of which DEMON, I gotta get with Travis and find out if his mom/stepdad do boat upholstery as well. That'll be coming up in the near future, probably xmas time. 2 boats, this one and a trimaran (sailboat). I'm actually doing work to both at the same time if you can imagine that. My hobbies have taken over my life...
  7. Only took 6 weeks and $300 to finish it - now I just gotta get the rest of the boat looking less ghetto: http://forums.wakeboarder.com/viewtopic.php?p=687168#687168
  8. Considering they're used I'd say they're prolly already as broken in as they're gonna get. Like everyone else said, just tweak with the shifter/change your shifting style. If all else fails, buy a different shifter. GP shifting would be the shiz! I converted to it on my sportbike and had to get used to regular shifting again when I sold it to get the shee. It could prolly be done, just have to make some kind of linkage and bolt the shifter to the inside of the footpeg or something. Eh, I've got too many projects already - I'll give this one to somebody else.
  9. You sure it was water and not yellow overspray?
  10. If you look at that pic you can see that somebody just stuck a bracket on the rear of a stock swinger and welded it in place. Did a pretty shoddy job too by the looks of it. I wouldn't ride on a quad with that, but have fun man!
  11. Whoa he's back! I'm kinda surprised the "mods" haven't locked this thread yet.
  12. Haha...pretty amusing shit right here. I do pretty well avoiding fights. I'll give a guy every oportunity to drop it, even walking away, but if he just keeps at it, what choice do you have. At that point I figure if I'm gonna go thru all the trouble of fighting, win or lose, this guy is gonna have a lifetime limp. Personally I like to take out a knee. You can drop any size guy if you take out his knee. You got beat man, but don't worry, everybody loses a fight at some point. Next time though, even if you lose give the guy a reason to never wanna try that again.
  13. I've always gotten mine from www.carb.com Best prices that I've found.
  14. Woohoo! Hey brooke why don't you make a wish and blow me!
  15. Man I am so tempted to try drinking that much food coloring.
  16. Maybe he was thinking of the TORS. No HP increase for removing the TORS, just a little more reliability.
  17. Actually the gas mileage on the titan aint half bad. I usually get around 14-15mpg with mixed city/hwy driving plus a slight lead foot problem. Some guys have managed to get around 21mpg hwy after replacing the intake/exhaust and a few other mods.
  18. Word. Justintoxicated and I both '05 king cabs - offroad, big tow, popular, blah blah. Great truck, get lots of questions about it. Check out www.titantalk.com if you wanna find out loads of info on em. Dunes pretty damn good. I had it out at Glamis and got 'er stuck eventually. But only cuz I was doing shit I shouldn't have been doing. My only complaint is the stock stance looks odd IMO with the front end being 2" lower than the rear. A company called PRG makes a leveling kit to fix that though, the owner is a member on titantalk. I've got mine all torn apart right now while I install her new stereo Here she is out in Glamis before the leveling kit:

    Rim size?

A smaller rim will allow the tire to elongate as you go faster, thereby changing your gear ratio. For strictly dragging your better off with a smaller rim. Drawback of 8's is they look kinda weird and don't handle as good as a 10 would. If you like to dune as well I'd recomend the 10's.
  20. You could potentially use stock carbs bored out. I don't think a jet kit would cut it. It really depends on the porting.
  21. I think its gonna be close man. Those 400's can be made pretty fast. Drawback of em is he's done almost everything he can for power whereas your bike still has tons of potential. He probably knows this which is why he's trying to find a mildly modded shee to race for pinks. He's tired of his 400! If you raced him 10x, you'd probably win 6 of em. Shit odds if your racing for pinks. Change the pipe, get some porting, then race.
  22. Sounds like he overheated from running lean. So either its jetting or an airleak.
  23. I thought that too Star... Had to guess on a few things but KBB lists it at $8500 in good condition. Granted they don't cover the lift. You might get $9500 for it.
  24. Gotta jet man. Go here and read this: Jetting FAQ while its loading you can pray that you didn't fry your engine.
  25. Boat was broken. Should be fixed now but if there was a god she hates me so I have no time off to put it back together. Not that it matters since you need a day off in order to ride.
