  1. Those are the Pro "G" series. Nice to see that works is finally getting serious about the aftermarket suspension market.
  2. I'm in Huntington Beach (N. Orange County). The riding season is just about over. Most riding areas in Cali should be getting well into the 90's within the next few weeks, leaving Pismo and Big Bear as the only places rideable. I'm available all days of the week, but weekdays are generally better for me.
  3. Ya if I even felt tempted to bang the other chick I'd be questioning why I'm getting married. Why get married at all man? Just stay single and bang whoever you want. All that's gonna end up happenning if you'll get a divorce and she'll get half of your shit. Save yourself some grief man...
  4. Good article! I'm thinking we've got a few pilots...maybe we could get a bunch of crop dusters and wipe out this milkweed issue for good.
  5. Cats are evil and need to die!
  6. They should also make it legal to hunt people who dress up like cats. Do you have to shoot them? I'm thinking it would be more fun to load up a cat into a trebuchet!
  7. Throw her away like a parking ticket!
  8. Hey Brooke...God your sexy! Wanna fuck?
  9. i dunno...maybe its just me but I think that mods fall under a special catagory and shouldn't allow themselves to succumb to petty disputes. You can say its valid in your case if you'd like, but I don't agree.
  10. Sad day for the HQ when a mod starts throwing his weight around. Its official, this place is
  11. I've been using my dewalt for about 2.5 years now. Almost daily for the 6 months and its holding up great. The only thing that kinda bugs me about it is the on/off switch is located on the side and I tend to bump it off while grinding. They've already addressed the problem and they now have 2 units, one with the switch on top, the other has a handle with a lock much like an die grinder.
  12. Don't tell anyone but that's the reason why we're in Iraq...well one of em anyway. Iraq has a ton of oil and should be a major competetor against Saudi Arabi, but Saddam was a moron bent on world domination and prefered fighting with his neighbors rather than have his country take down the OPEC monopoly. The Saudi's are assholes, but we can't do anything about it cuz they'll cut off our oil at the first sign of trouble. So instead we invade Iraq under the pretenses of overthrowing Saddam, and at the same time help establish Iraq's oil production as a means for a new economy to generate revenue. So basically in 5 years or so the Saudi's will have competition and worldwide gas prices will plummet. If all goes as planned anyway.
  13. Yeah, it took me like 3 hours just to finish the shading on your upper lip.
  14. I talked with Todd at TCS about this and he said that the spring diameter for the yfz shocks is a real oddball size that most spring manufacturers don't make. He found some springs that fit but they're very short so you need several per shock and they were $90 each so it was cheaper just to make a whole new shock. The rear on the otherhand can be revalved/sprung for I think $350. Check out the TCS website.
  15. I've ridden a predator and I wasn't overly impressed. They've got ok power, ok suspension, ok handling...basically its a very average bike. Its not gonna impress you, ever.
  16. Well so far so good. Got em this afternoon and had to make a few modifications to the design to fit my legs more comfortably. Spent about an hour just walking around. Stumbled a couple times but never fell. Tried doing a little jumping while holding onto a wall. Got about 2 feet high but couldn't go higher without having to let go of the safety of the wall. I'll see if I can get a pic tomorrow.
  17. Pismo is TINY and gets overcrowded quick. I think its pretty hard to get reservations on holiday weekends up there cuz they limit the number of overnight campers. So how tiny is it? You can ride every inch of sand on a single tank and Comp is about 80-100 feet high. I only go there cuz its the only place not in triple digits during the summer.
  18. Yup she does. But I'm worth 1/4 million dead so she didn't hesitate in letting me buy em.
  19. Huntington Beach here. Ride Glamis, Dumont, Pismo...and if I have to, any of the local dirt areas (Roher, johnson, stoddard, el mirage, etc.)
  20. Around $400
  21. Just ordered myself a set of these bad boys. They're pretty new to the U.S. but you can get them from www.superdairyboy.com or www.skyrunners.com. Check out the videos on the skyrunner website especially...that guy in the freestyle vids is insane. They allow an experienced user to jump 6' high and run at 20+mph. Sweet eh?
  22. Also you need to check with your builder and see if he can re-port your cyls for the stroker. Depending upon the amount of porting that was done before, he may or may not be able to do it. If he can't you'll have to sell your cyls and get another set off ebay.
  23. If its a stock crank don't bother rebuilding them. They're not 100% rebuildable and will therefore wear out sooner each time you try to rebuild. How much sooner is anybody's guess. You could either try ebay for a used one or do it right and buy an aftermarket crank. Do it right the first time and save yourself some headaches.
  24. You're cylinder is moving further during the same time period. Therefore your ports no longer line up as they're supposed to during the stroke. When you get stroker-specific porting they cut away some material on the ports so that everything matches up again.
