  1. any pipe with all the packing out of them is going to be stupid loud and sound like crap.. the cpi's and toomey's in my opinion are the WORST sounding non packed silencer pipes available, also the stockers witht he butt plugs removed sound awesome also, my favorite pick for worst sounding non packed pipe is any polaris 400 with a 10 year old kid on it racing in the pits.. burrrrrrr burrrrrr burrrrrrr burrrrrrr bur KEeeACKK bur KERACCCCCCCKKK bur KKEACKK click, (thats him trying to find reverse) brrrrrr, "ping", burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ( going down the road after i threw a beer can at him) t-5's, t-6's with a nice agressive port sound sweet
  2. how about a trade for a small jet boat.. its an ultranautics 13 ft 90 hp 2cylinder jet drive 3 seater?
  3. mine went 200sx , ds650 TO BIG 400ex rode it for 2 years, mild stocker banshee, ported pipes, alky drag port cpi's billet everything powdercoated everything else. rides it all over the place.. these 250's are a blast to wheelie the auto clutch makes it very easy to stay up in 1st gear.
  4. if the weather looks better this weekend i may come up and spend wensday on.
  5. dang that needle must look like a push pin on the end..
  6. im gonna need a dmx to just compete anymore. the ole tired azz 535 is just not big enough!!..
  7. i think i am going to sell my rappy 700, its a 2006 pretty much stock, hmf slip on, nerfs, k+n with plate filter set up dobeck controller, stock front wheels itp rear wheels i have a set of 10" paddles that go with it but the tires are complete junk. at least you will have wheels!... i can email pictures located in nickerson kansas about 45 miles from wichita ks OR cal NO trades on this one PLEASE.. 620 422 6041 OR 620 474 1864 asking 4000 . i can email pictures i am tired of trying to post them on this site sorry.
  8. i will be there also same old turds with no changes in the last few years buying this house has put a big hold on any big impressive changes to my junk hope to have the pit atc70 runnig probably ride that sucker the most.. i'd like to stop and bs with you m+m guys this time!! always have fun racing your group for sure!
  9. did you have a bolt on cylinder before or just a "clean up?"
  10. wow havent heard merkur in a LONG time got any pics of that car. i had a few a LONG time ago fun car and easy to work on wish they would have made a few more of them.. ( its a german? built 2 door coupe with the 4 cylinder ford turbo charged motor in it) lot like the supercharged thunderbird BUT it has different cam and a few other things and was 210hp stock wayyy back. and the car itself was a lot better quality and comfy than the ole birdwagon. i bet 450 isnt out of the question.. mine was a 5 speed..
  11. those carbs are japanese built!!!
  12. those were some of the first fmf's ever made YES fmf did port work, YES those cylinders are ported YES pretty much any decent port job and pipes WILL out pull a stocker banshee with JUST pipes. not everyone threw all that old stuff away back in the days. and in the old days porters were making big bucks on banshee's.. you gotta rember these things have been around for a LONG time. finding a nice set up like that from wayyy back just goes to show just cause its NEW dosent mean its better... dont get me wrong pipe design and overall knowledge of other factors on banshee's have come a long way.. intake ports look pretty decent. and your going to hate changing plugs with those pipes!!!
  13. a box stock 421 cub is around 198* exhaust timing thats hi for trails riding. the other ting to consider is its not that they are a light switch its that the hp comes on soo strong and is so much higher than what your used to. a 420 cheeta or a 485 cheeta 4 mill crank with PV's is a SWEET dune motor. you just need someone that knows how to port for the powervalves or they can mess them up. its easy to overport the exhaust and end up blowing by the valves. the chetta will still overrev like a cub but just have too much intake ( i believe) to really flow hard enough on top.. if money isn't really a factor id say definatelly do a cheeta pv motor for trail/ play draggin.. they are a LOT of fun you will need some arm or detune it quite a bit.. i would like to build a 4 mill cub and purposely try and smooth out the power delivery some day.. i know it can be done but then again why not just a 10 mill cub? if your going that direction? on the other hand a properly set up stocker 350cc bansxhee in the dunes is a lot of fun.. 70ish hp with smooth delivery is not unreal..
  14. 7 8 9 10 paddle all work well. if the bike wont "turn" buy front tires witht he ribs on them.. i HATE angled paddles the rear floats arouond and the "turn" wayyy to easy.. o sand stars are a great inbetween tire. good straight line traction and good overall turnability. if your not looking to spend a lot i say sand stars. 10" or 8 " i think they might have 9's also??
  15. [heyyyyyyyy i rember racing that orange banshee with the weirdo pipes on it.. i was on the red banshee with fmf's with a fo sale sign on it. had fun saturday went for a day trip weather was great...
  16. ran a tank of gas through this last weekend at the dunes its a fun fun fun bike. hate to sell it but will know for sure in a few days if we get this house if the house deal falls through i will just keep it around for a rider.. $3000.
  17. ok figured i'd put together a fun play bike to sell for pretty cheap. motor is: 2005 banshee with low hours donated most all engine internals: crank, full transmission all clutch parts out of that engine, stockcrank, stock trans maybe 2 hours on all of it. ported top end wiseco pistons coolhead with 21cc domes, upp intakes, boyesen reeds on ported cages 36mm LECTRON gas carbs, custom fmf sst's with CENTER mounted silencers 2-1 custom intake airfilter set up. w k+n filter stock ignition with +4 timing plate all center mounted up front so very little wiring will still be able to run lights but i ddint install any. over sized stator 100watt MOOSE style, stock oem flywheel 87 frame lightened but still very duneable no so cut up that if you jump it it will fold up, +2 forward denton j-arms, +6 tucker pro am swingarm round housing carrier jj+a carrier stock axle stock shocks, will have dune smootheies up front and some 10" 9 paddle haulers on it. alluminum grab bar . its all new inside the motor ran long enough to start it up and check the jetting. runs great i'll probably run it a lil this weeend and work out any bugs it might have. asking 3100 .. ORmake REASONABLE offer no 1500 is not enough its a nice bike overall and looks pretty good. i WILL install a stock swingarm on it if wanted OR will sell it with the extra arm. with the +6 its very duneable and tree shoots excellent will email pictures to serious individuals OR check this link: https://accounts.craigslist.org/post/shwpst...55380&db=lv this is a NICE bike i am ONLY selling this to pay for the down payment on my house i am trying to buy if i cannot get it sold in the next 2 weeks i will keep it as i will loose the chance to buy this house. 620 259 6178 will drive a short ways to meet if interested. its located in hutchinson kansas
  18. where you loated got any pics if you have pics of the 13's please send them to me at [email protected] thanks
  19. ok well here's to answer your real question. i have had pro circuits, t-5's, fmf gold seriers and SST"s on the same engine. i can tell you this: the t-5's are a GREAT pipe they pull nicely on the bottom and over all have the strongest midrange of all the pipes listed ( this is also on a ported banshee with carbs and head and stuff also ran the pc's and t-5's on an alky drag ported 350cc) the PRO CIRCUITS are also a great pipe i;d say they donthave as strong as a midrange but are more "fluid" of a pipe the power trnasfers easily through the rpm and they rev a lil further than the t-5's its a tough choice between them on dirt roads riding ( wide fkn open) the fmf's gold series can be bought for dirt cheap and are a great pipe they are strong all the way through the rpm range but definatelly hit a brick wall on the top end. they just wont rev as far powering as the t-5's or the PC'S the sst's are an improvement of the gold series. they pull farther on top and haved a stronger midrange.. if you wanting a REV pipe the CPI's are good choice if you want an OVERREV pipe or super strong high rpm drag pipe the shear's are a great pipe neather are good "trail" pipes or cruiser pipes.. thes one listed above are my favorites for that.
  20. so whats going to happen with the other 25-50 sets of pipes... ?? the DMC"S were never really pushed and i think thats part of their downfall ,.. BUT they sounds bad arse.. head pipes look a lot like toomey's.. and i have seen a lot of bikes with t-5's racing 916's and they are pretty close in performance everyone have t-5'S advantage performance is a GREAT company to deal with i loved them when i had my shop.. they were a great help to dealers and actually tried to help when they could.. it was a big difference from parts unlimited..
  21. KX high is a lil higher than cr hi and a nicer overall bend. and another thing DONT ROTATE yoru bars forward!!! the ends need to be flat!!! if the ends are pointed UP it will hurt your wrists badly if you bang the wheels into anything.. and its really bad on your posture.. i HATE that the dirtbikers have all those different bends and changes in bends and what do we have ATV ape hangers thanks guys..
  22. what do they make stock? 38? i was wondering the same thing on the avitar thats some good stuff. i dont think its hot fuzz?
  23. 120 no way its a 68mm 4 mill la sleeve those turds are hard to get 80+hp out of. OOOOO blaster 350 sleeve's?? wow... 92mph maybe on a LONG run with a big gear and a lil rider my trail bike will do 92 mph ( on a dyno..) those pipe wont make that kind of power anyways. i;d give him 1000 if he took that dopey plastic off..
  24. if it idles fine but boggs but stays running the park brake override is active. you need to check that wiring issue what year is it? i think 98 or 99 is when they started putting the park break override on them.. the toors will kill the bike if the stupid lil black box is still plugged in if it is get that junk off the bike and throw it as hard as you can across the street. then do burnouts on top of it..
