Seeing how everyone has been using tips and tricks as basically everything.. I'm going to use it as, give me some tips or tips for my shee! Here are 3 pictures... What do you think it could use?

try it reverse and see how they like it... When they arent even started up and your out of sight then they will understand what a shee is all about

How do you adjust the floats.. Are those the little black things, or is that the piece that goes around the jet.?

Yep, you guessed it.. My carbs are leaking gas. It is coming out of the tubes that come from the bottom of the carbs. Wasnt doing it all winter, put a fresh tank of gas.. Poof, leak leak. I shut the gas off and it stopped leaking of course.. But I ran it the other day and I burned up fuel like crazy. Is there something wrong with the carbs? Work done since this problem : Milled head, lightened flywheel Carbs are replacements that I got on ebay, but they didnt leak fuel from x-mas until 2 weeks ago.. Had fuel in the tank the whole time.

Had that problem, it was my slides.. They were up just a FRACTION of an inch, but it still was crazy at idle. Pull your throttle cable off of the thumb throttle assembly so that it doesnt have tension. See if that helps... If it does you just have too much tension in the cable, so screw the bolt in further on the thumb throttle assembly

Explain a little more in depth about checking the wires that go to the coils..? I'm not sure what your talking about. Like are you talking where they go into the caps? Or the other end.. Also I ordered a TORS removal kit, will be here Monday.. So until then I'm not going to just pull the TORS out, I will just wait and do it right. Any other ideas?

I already said I ordered TORS removal kit.. It will be here monday. But my question was, what else might it be?

Hey guys, I tend to write alot so you know exactly whats up, but if you hate reading, read the background, then the summarized version is at the bottom BACKGROUND: Just got done with my winter work this last week, pretty much only engine mods that were done was milled head.. Then I had my flywheel lightened and added pipes. I have a twist throttle, and there is a wire that used to connect into the thumb throttle which I couldnt run the bike without, so that is connected and attached to the frame. THE PROBLEM: I put in oil, and went to start her up. Nothing. So of course I checked for spark. There was none. I took off the plastics, gas tank and unhooked the radiator so i could get to all the wires. Took each wire plug apart, blew in it, then put them all back together. Started up, first kick. So I let it warm up so I can ride to my friends to show off my shee, and to take her for her first ride of spring. Of course, my gas was low and she died half way, called him to have him bring me 3 gallons of non-mixed pump gas, he shows up, I add my 12 oz. of oil which I carried with me knowing I was low on gas (another reason I was going to his house) She started up again. I get to his house, and shut it off, and she is sitting for about... 30 mins max. I go to start it up, first kick again. I let it idle for a few mins, then roll it out of his garage, then it starts to die down, I gave it some throttle but couldnt save it. She died. I was boggled by this because it had been running fine about 30 mins prior. So I kick it, nothing, kick nothing.. etc. Put some quick start fluid in, it starts, burns for about 1-2 seconds, dies. Then I tried and tried and tried.. And nothing. Check for spark, there was none. I left it there overnight because I didnt have time to work on it, so I went back the next day and checked her over, still no spark.. So I did what I did the night before which worked.. Blew in all of the wire plugs, and replaced my spark plugs. FInally after like 2 hours of unplugging, pluging back in, check wires, trying TORS on, TORS off, and all that crap, it STARTED! QUESTION: So... Seeing how it started before, and then died, I'm not going to be suprised if I lose spark again. I ordered a TORS removal kit just to make things less confusing and better in the future, but need to figure out what is wrong with what I have. I plan on adding the TORS removal kit, and cleaning up all the wires because they are a mess.. Any suggestions as to what it might be? I'm sure someone has had this problem before..? SUMMARY: BIke wouldnt start, checked all wire connections, blew in them. Started. Drove to friends, ran out of gas on way. Got gas, got to his house, shut if off, 30 mins later, tried to start at his house. started. died. nothing. no spark. next day, checked wires again, replaced spark plugs, eventually started after 2 hours. Now, read starting at QUESTION. (2 paragraphs up.)

Questions about head milling??? Want to know the TRUTH?? Contact boonman. He knows what he is talking about. He did my head and flywheel for $115, huge gains.. I love it!

I had my shee do that, and the TORS were messed up so I couldnt turn it off via key or switch That sucked, but what it was.... The slides were being held up BARELY, like not even a noticable amount. i would let as much slack as possible into your throttle cable where it goes into the thumb throttle assembly, start her up, and see if that helps.. If yes, just keep moving it in until it is where you want it.

lol...NOW you tell me... Oh well, no problems...yet actually, there were some problems, it has spark one moment...then it wont, I just ordered a TORS removal kit, hopefully that will do the trick, then I'm also going to take alllllllll of the wiring and clean it up, because its a mess.

i hear you on that. I plan on getting over to silver lake a few times this year. My friend with a blaster doesnt have paddles, and so he said he will only go if i can get someone to lend him a pair, which I doubt anyone on here would do because we all have banshee patterns But I havnet ever riden dunes yet. I've done most of my riding in Gladwin (next closest place is another hour), and then I hit up quite a few ATV/Bike trails in the gaylord area.. Leetsville, gaylord, and there is a large trailhead about 15 mins south of kalkaska if you are formilliar with it up there.. I have a boat that I keep up in Traverse City so I'm up there alot, but I dont know anyone up there that rides.. So I'm just going to do like a weekend thing where I hit up silver lake friday/saturday, then go to my boat sunday monday. We should ride sometime.. There are ALOT of people on here from Michigan, I say we make a post and try and decide a date and all go to silver lake or something, that would be pretty tight.. Darrin

Saginaw, you? If your close maybe we can ride sometime, all my friends have blasters, so riding with them isnt that fun.. especially since my shee isnt stock and their blasters are

Hey all, I am FINALLY going to remove my TORS... NOW, what do I need to buy? I have a twist throttle, and the throttle cable was originally made for thumb, but I fabricated it to work with my twist.. I am just going to buy the TORS removal kit or whatever it is, but I am not sure what exactly to buy.. I see on vito's website that their kit is for thumb throttle.. I'm just not sure if I will need anything special or what, I just want to go cheapest way possible...Let me know guys, I'm sure 9/10 of you have your TORS hacked off I'm just sick and tired of my spark coming and going...So, its coming off!

I just bought Pennzoil High Mileage Vehicle, OAE 10w-30 motor oil....will this be fine to put in my tranny??? PLEASE POST ASAP!! I WANT TO RIDE MY SHEE TONIGHT!
