  4. WOWZERS! thats expensive....most expensive mod i will be doing so far
  5. Wait, one person says toe out, one person says line them up with the outside of the rear wheels.. Thats two different directions!
  6. SOLD =) You should be a salesman... But now I just spent $70 on a tors removal kit and another $70 on my throttle cable =( Coulda used that 140 towards my single carb setup... HMM, GRRR Will I lose top end SPEED, I know you said I will gain top end, but im talking like MPH wise, not HP or Torque
  7. I have a 2003 Kawasaki KX 125, only been riden on about 10 hours tops, great condition.. It has a pro-circuit pipe with a shorty silencer. DC Shoes sticker kit, bought it for $5200 8 months ago. $3800 Resonable offers accepted. Located in Saginaw Michigan If you need pictures I can arrange for it, just let me know.
  8. I think thats the right name... Its that black piece that covers up the flywheel and front sprocket. I just want a stock one if anyone has it laying around.. I want to try some stuff but dont want to ruin mine and not be able to ride until I get a new one.. =)
  9. I'm talking things that wont have my shee torn down for this nice weather! No engine work, thats this winter.. Like add-ons.. Arms, shocks, stuff like that. Who knows, I will probably just get some new pipes, any suggestions? I have old school Fatties with powercore II's.. I ride dunes and trail, but I dont have spark arrestors! ***Shhhhhh***
  10. ok, I know apprx where to line them up, but how do I know if they are at that spot? What I'm asking for is a method you all use to check where it is alligned.. For instance I tried with a broom stick, but my rims are banged up, so that didnt work.. =(
  11. Hey, sorry for so many posts, but I have a question... My front wheels just dont SEEM to be perfectly straight. Where should they line up?? Is there a method you all use to get them right? I just dont want to take her out for the first time after this rebuild and go to turn or something and lose control Not sure if that could happen, but who knows...
  12. what will i gain from single carb?
  13. Will it be that much difference from my milled head? I know it will still make difference, but I want a new mod, not an upgraded old one =( Then again my fmf fatties dont have spark arrestors, so I might have to just do that =)
  14. I got the urge to buy some more today..what should i get? I probably want to spend like $200-300, no more then that.. Look at my sig to see what I have.
  15. wow, good way to kill my sunday morning...that was fun
  16. Its kindof odd. This was my first time putting on carb tops that are caps instead of the crappy TORS stuff, so I wasnt sure what I had to do, but what I did was screwed the cap all the way onto the throttle peice, then screwed the cap on. I'm assuming that kept them adjusted evenly, but whether or not they are where they are supposed to be I have no idea.. How do I make sure they are "all the way down"?
  17. I wasnt talking about what zilla said, i was referring to what broke said.. (can get a new one for that)
  18. in the one of the whole shee, you can see the cable is the braided one with a clear coat on it, the 2 into 1 piece needs to be shoved further forward so the only place for it was in that little wire guide, which I doubt it should be.. then it goes up and runs straight up along the radiator (which I will adjust because I dont want it to melt) and then you see the rest. The pic of the cable is only pulled to see the slack, it is not WOT.
  19. I just spent $70 on a throttle cable from terry cable and I put it on my shee with my new caps because of the TORS removal. When I ordered it (over the phone) we talked to make sure I got the right one, and here it is.. I set it up, seems like its extremely long, and there is an extra 1-2 inches of cable beyond the adjusting screw when its all the way out. is there something i did wrong, or is this cable not for me... EDIT*** Will post a picture
  20. I've got a wedding may 21st up in Traverse city, maybe I can bring the shee with and shoot down that way for sunday riding.. only problem is i will be by myself.. Oh ya, and my shee isnt together... lol
  21. bump, need s'more votes. I was leaning towards white, but all this red is making me think red.... 4 more votes and the decision is made.
  22. ya, a brand new one for 400...let me know where you got that.. If your not interested in it you dont need to be posting. Now you have anyone that comes here looking at it thinking that its a rip off...
  23. flywheel lightened and head milled. That makes your power band kick earlier because you hit high RPM's faster. Or a noss head with interchangable domes will work just as well for the head milling. But pipes are one of the best strap on mods dollar for dollar.
