  3. inthe winter in utah they salt the roads for ice, we spray are chrome wheels with a layer of WD-40 then wash the off in the spring helps keep the rust down. It may make cleaning up hard but it's better than rust. ANybody else ?
  4. the pilots in my son shee which are 34mm flat slide and his friend with ported K&T cylinders, I ported my son shee Both run CPI's, Inframe on the friends and outside drag's on my son. Stock polits but we are at 4300 to 5000 feet. I'm runnng 35's polits in my 34mm roundslides. but remeber my shee is not spot on,It runs very good but i still feel there is more horsepower to find in the jetting. But my Stroker runs great until it gets hot over 180 degrees this is at 1/8 throttle criuse only. It's don't pull 6 th hard like i think it should, 70 Mph with 14/44 gear on sand lake bed at St Anthony egin lake. I will try 260 next summer in the heat. I hope it starts to run killer as it get colder than I know i am still little rich. My plug chops are looking pretty close, But I am Chicken to drop jetting to Fast Passion strokers Cost Money and would hate to burn it down. also this is with 21x12x8 9paddle so this can help you baseline it. I also have a complete set of jet too. 270 to 430. I tryied jetting my Polits down but I never made a mental note on the 32.5 but the 30 and 27 where worse in my 1/8. Tip Index the throttle, Works great on a twist. you did a 3 port Exhaust? Tell me more. I love this engine stuff?
  5. i am running 270 on my stroker, 34mm round slides at 5000 feet. others run cpi's and ported motors are 270 to 290 with tm 34mm carbs try a 300's and plug chop.
  6. I had Grand River Racing build me 5 inch heavy chromoly standard carrier to go with my LSR doudle row aluminum carrier. I did a Total teardown than I stripped it, painted it, than Clearcoated it. replaced all worn parts last winter. with my passion 12 port stoker Pipes etc, cost of the used shee i am into it for about 5,800.00
  7. Here is a Pic of my Shee for all you Guys & Gals, OK So what do you think? Only Part i didn't do was weld the swing arm and 12 port the jugs.
  8. I am at 4 degree with a drippy pipe and no smoke at 40:1 R50 Klotz. What Intake manifold setup are we all running? I am usings a 35mm billet with no crossover equalizer passage way.
  9. rebelbanshee2 You are using a TM 28mm mikuni flatslide? if so tell me yoursettings?
  10. Man like you i have tried to jet my topend in. But i think i have a Flow problem with my Mikuni Old school round slide. All the info is in my SIG, Jets are differnt than Keihins. But right now 270 main 35 pilots 2nd notch, cutway is 2.0 Needle is 6pd17 never checked the needle jet size, my next change is going back to 32.5 pilot and leaner cutway at 3.0
  11. Www.proflow.com great price on cranks, reed, carbs etc..
  12. Locogato. Man you won't let that spacer plate go I have the Spacer plate and No mid range bog either. PassionRE can you tell us the disavantage of a Spacer plate, I feel the only one I can think of is more crank case Air volume. this will lower the tranfer port Presure that's let in. Is this correct? But with less presure you gain more rev speed and top end power. I hope this makes sence.
  13. Muhehehehehe
  14. Here is a Joke Three engineers are riding in a car: an electrical engineer, a chemical engineer, and a Microsoft engineer. Suddenly the car stalls and stops by the side of the road. The three engineers look at each other with bewilderment, wondering what could be wrong. The electrical engineer, not knowing much about mechanics, suggests, "Let's strip down the electronics of the car and try to trace where a fault might have occurred." The chemical engineer, not knowing much about electronics, suggests, "Maybe the fuel has become emulsified and is causing a blockage! somewhere in the system." The Microsoft engineer suggests, "Why don't we close all the windows, get out, get back in, open the windows again, and maybe it will work."
  15. Ahh so the turth comes out, Pencil Dick.
  16. I read on atv sport magazine that is was 71 mph. thats pretty fast for someone who don't want to shift. Becarful there are over 500 pounds too.
  17. There is a Dyno On planet sand. It show they make little more power but it higher up in the rpm range. But what i liked most was it a broader torque range than the other pipes dyno. Great for what i felt i needed for shootin the long steep dunes i ride.
  18. Lokar So how old are you? What parts do you make for a Living?
  19. Neither one of them are Passion 12 port.
  20. My son has CPI and I have Shearer. Shearer are about 3/4 smaller in the main section than the Cpi's are. They make custom pipes for any motor for 600 bucks. but they make a standard production stamp one for less. Passion Sells them. I got mine off ebay shipped for 488. Hard to beat a New set of chrome for that shipped. They Look Like a T6 toomey. They have a smooth flowing curve to them.Rocket & Cpi fuggin ougley to me. They hit pretty hard and don't fall off the pipe much when you over rev them.
