  1. No backfiring at all. A clean rev up to the verry last rpm it can do. real smooth. like a downhill 4th gear WOT on a normally geared banshee. For mods: Pipes + modified airbox lid (stock air filter) 290 main 4th clip on needle not sure on the pilots but that wont be an issue here. Stock ignition timing. Both headers glowing red for a good 5"
  2. Ive got this one for temp and rpm. It blinks red when revving over 10K or when temp gets to high. Showing rpm here.
  3. 2 of those 700CC raptors on order here. Both are expected to arrive near christmas, road legal. Both for riding mates. The dealer said the top speed is between 92 and 95 MPH. i just laughed. and laughed some more. /edit. In fact. i would be amazed if it would do 80-84 mph stock. /edit
  4. Hey all. Since last weekend i have some new road tires. These are quite a bit lower then stock 20" banshee tires. And are an awesome improvement on pavement. The first response from the riding mates was, your going to be alot slower with those tiny tires. Boy where they.. and me aswell .. suprised to see the top speed only be 3 miles slower. While testing the top speed one of the riding mates pointed at my pipes. After pulling over he screamed: your pipes where glowing red hot! Now i know jetting doesnt change because of different tires. Bike has been a bit rich since day 1. But since the banshee revs till the redline in 6th gear now, and i mean redline. Can it be that i'm running lean(er) @ those high revs? Currently running a 40 tooth sprocket, i think ill change to a 38. Thanks for any comment in advantage!
  5. Oliver has a good point there. The price of the lid is pretty steap, You could do some engine work for the money if your concerned about your filter setup. I'm running a powerlid and k&n filter. absolutly great!, when washing the bike i make sure to put the normal lid on. The powerlid with outerwear is not completly waterproof but works excellent in watery riding conditions. + cleaning the filter is really easy. my k&n filter in the box stays clean, all i have to do is clean the powerlid now and then.
  6. Our prices went up 2,25% since 21 jul 2004 (time of picture posted before) now paying: 6 dollar 58 a gallon here.
  7. It was a pain in the @ss to do here in the netherlands... a true pain in the @ss. but man... the pain was more then worth it. Registation says: 3 wheeler specialties: has 4 wheels class: Car max power: 15KW When the banshee came the registration said 31kw... there was no way i could get it road legal. So i had the registration modified in germany for 15(kw) haha the testing details said 5 screws inward on the throttle limiter.. beat that!
  8. <--- We need to line our bikes up m8.
  9. The pump.. 2.9 gallon in the jar. 20 USD 95 and 98 octane fuel straight out of the pump... lovely.
  10. Whois watching? -> LIVE streaming Video <- Freestyle MX comment is in english so everybody can watch. I'm liking this!
  11. *BUMP* Stop whining ya american crybabies! paying 6 dollar 44 a gallon here. Thats TIMES 3 you guys are paying. Taking the shee out for a ride is becomming something only for "the rich and famous" here. I'm running the best pump gas availeble which is octane 98 unleaded. regular is octane 95 in the netherlands.
  12. London just exploded! Something like sept 11 2001 Crap i need a tele fast!
  13. imo: 1 side looks ashgray meaning totally lean. -out of spec crank causing additional vibration. -plug comes lose -lose plug causes airleak == totally lean additional heat and forces on the failing side caused the big end to give up completely. i can see a cheetah engine comming for our scotisch mate
  14. I quote: + I'm sorry harehope, send me some pics.
  15. 20 psi difference between the two cylinders is too much if you ask me. 100 psi can be "O.K" depending on your elevation and state of engine tune. But the 20 psi difference really calls for a re-ring/rebuild.
  16. t4's indeed, well spotted zrcolo. also a good confirmation for me that i have t3's on the road legal shee.
  17. hehe, yeah beat Tithead for me or drive him off the track whichever suits you better No hard feelings titty, but banshees first.
  18. Maybe you should go play some more Monster Munch.
  19. Check the banshee manual or a clymer manual, There is a limited amount of free play allowed (sideways). If the free play is to much then the crank will need to be pressed back in shape. most people then weld the crank to prevent seperation of the crank. Since imagestation has issues here are your pics: LEFT LEFT Right Right
