My cousin and close riding mate also bough him a 450.
That makes two 450's to race against.
I just returned from my quad vacation to scotland.
The first thing i did was taking the yfz450 for a spin.
its a second hand bike but in really great shape.
all the gytr stuff is on it.
header + silenser
air filter
bullbars
jetkit
The works,
Great bike runs verry clean, fast revving i dare say even faster reving as my banshee.. and most bansee's
After i got my banshee back together there was ofcourse a dragrace on asphalt.
We were dead even 5 times.
450 takes the holeshot
up to 5th gear i'm slowly repairing the damage from the holeshot.
450 starts to rev out 5th gear and i have to shift to 6th where i lose another few feet because of shifting.
eventually the banshee will go past since this 450 tops out at 72 MPH
i really dont want to know what is going to happen tomorow.
We will be of to some constuction site, i guess i better prepare for defeat.
We will soon do the free cam mod on this 450 aswell, get the airbox lid off and rejet. i'm sure the 450 has takes the win in this drag aswell.
As for my setup:
t5's + dbkiller
k&n + powerlid
360 mains
4 deg advanced timing and boyeson reed petals.
things i will change for the next drag:
change to road tires (the fast trekkers suck on road)
go back to 15 tooth on front.
its a great ride. feels like banshee powerband but then all the time..
hard seat.
