sometime around the very end of September or Beginning of October we will be heading for Hatfield-McCoy in WV. It's one of the biggest trail haven's on the East Coast. For the Last 2 years we've gone for a week and have only explored the Rockhouse Trail System and are just now getting used to riding it. It is insane riding to say the least, and if you want something that will push you to your riding limits, it is definitely the place. There are hillclimbs that just go on forever, nice flat corners that you can hit in third that just overlook valley after valley, and days of riding that you wont see the same thing twice. We will be hitting up Rockhouse again this year (starting to know our way around so its more fun), and to make it from one trailhead to the other I've always carried a 2 gallon gas can on my back in a backpack. They have been cutting in new trails from the top part of the system to the bottom part that cuts out this one long trail that wraps real far out and then back in, so you might be able to make it on a tank of gas. Make sure your quads are reliable (there are people that have quad type vehicles with trailers that will get you out for a fee), and that you have skidplate protection and some good strong tires that have some good bite. I recommend getting a new set of 6 plys. My holeshots did pretty good there the first year, but the second time I went down there they just wanted to spin everywhere. My mudsharks did good, and so did the blackwaters. It's hard to tell if its gonna rain or not (it has almost every day we were down there each time), but when your riding, if you come around a mountain it'll be raining on one side and not on the other (clouds run down between the mountain crests) In the next couple weeks we will be setting a date of when we are going, it might even be as early as the end of august beginning of september (they have a dirt days thing down there or something that we like to hit up the last weekend of it to watch the drag races and hillclimb and recover from the long drive) Any and all are welcome to come, there are quite a few places to stay in the surrounding area. It is a great time and unbelievable riding. I'll post a few pictures when I get a chance. On a side note, I'll be running my IMS tank this year (had to buy it since I got a helmet camera that I'm gonna be using in my backpack, if I can get the damn sound to work)

I got an 82 Ford Bronco I'd trade you.....its not the nicest thing in the world....but I havent found a mudhole yet that it hasnt made it through. by the way, by your list of mods, ALMOST is the main word in your topic
-
Need something to clear my IMS tank. Let me know if you have anything I'd love it if someone figured out how to make a antivibe setup that would work with the stock stem.
-
Easiest way would be to get different nerfs DG's mount up to the holes

my woman just got her honorable discharge papers from the Marines.....she wouldnt pose in her uniforms for pictures before (I've got more memory pictures than you can imagine though), but now she's out she doesnt have the excuse of getting in trouble if the pictures ever got out somewhere. 5' 3", 115lbs with a 36D chest.......she likes to shoot guns and can kick most peoples ass if she has to Can you say Scantily Clad military outfit on the shee

sweet.....thanks guys Now I gotta push the whole "now that you wont be getting mud in your face.....how bout some cum in your eye"
-
hey man you still around? I got the cable ready to go
-
I'm all about the muscle car Only rice burner I'd probably drive would be a Supra or a twin turbo AWD Talon
-
thats exactly what I was going to say. You could definitely extend it a little bit and noone would notice, and then you could play with your gears, and paddles and I'm sure you could get it to launch pretty darn good. Weight = badddddd

yeah, what he said, we just call it like we see it. We dont know what you do for a living but we do know that you still owe 1,300 on a truck, and only want to spend 1500 on a banshee......it pretty much sums it up.
-
thanks fro, greatly appreciated bigboy and ricky, let me know, it'd save a lot of mud in my g/f's face and leave room for other things
-
did you check with the dealership to see how much they are? You could almost buy a set of fullbores for what it would cost to get them
-
homeowners should cover it......look into it. My brother in law was living at my parents house, his camaro was at a shop somewhere outside, kids broke the back window and cleaned out 2 amps, his subs, and all his cd's. My parents homeowners insurance covered the damage.

lrd pipes. Any thoughs? any pics mounted?
. replied to trialsallday's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I'll get some pics for you in a minute. I love the hell out of my LRD's and dont think I'd ever go with another pipe. The low end pull on them is amazing and I can putt around in the woods all day long if I want to. When it starts coming into the powerband it is a nice smooth hit so instead of either being off the pipe or on the pipe, you can sit in its sweet spot and it has lots of power and is very smooth. On top end, my buddy and I with the same exact setup, but him with T5's with a rolling start both getting on it at the same time my LRD's would pull just a little bit longer than the T5's. I'd walk away from him by a bike length or so every time as well. He'd walk on me when we switched as well so it wasnt just the rider. Best thing I've found about the pipe is that when hitting hillclimbs instead of having to clutch it or downshift and chance popping the front end up and all that crap, you can just stay with the throttle, and it'll pull you up the rest of the hill, much like a 4stroke will. The torque on them is great when it starts falling down out of the powerband. I run mine at 2 turns out from turned in all the way (top end), and basically adjusting the pipe determines where in the rpm range the powerband will start to hit. It's a nice adjustment to be able to make and allows you to sit in that sweet spot of right on the powerband when riding in the woods. And when you do mods to your engine and such, you can adjust it so it'll still be in that sweet spot. Instead of building a quad around your pipes, and adjusting the way you ride, and how you have to ride, you can adjust your pipe to your quad, your riding style, and the conditions of your riding. Everyone says they leak and blah blah blah, and they will if you adjust them after you set the silicone. I'd throw the pipes together, and then silicone around the outside of where they connect, and then you can adjust them over the first couple weeks (about a 1/2 turn at a time) and find where you want your powerband coming on, figure out where its set, pull them apart, and silicone the heck out of them. They are an amazing pipe, K&K know what they are talking about. I just cant wait to build a stroker so I can get their big bore pipes -
dont forget handyman.....that show is definitely a classic. Homey d. clown is awesome with his 8ball sock.....funny shit

03' 250ex..what a steal for u guys cheep..
. replied to 400exrider101's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
I'd rather buy a new blaster -
the ones on the front that connect to the bottom of the fender, the long ones. The ones that if you dont have them on it makes your fenders flap around like dumbo and like to leave nice little plastic marks on your pipes (bolt came out of the frame once on my shee)
-
also, possible trades would be (plus some cash etc) aftermarket front end and suspension setup, aftermarket negative 1 or 2 swingarm, aftermarket kickup peg setup, stator covers (depends on style), aftermarket handlebar light setup (also looking to replace stock location), +1 or 2 antivibe steering stem, 200 watt stator and timing plate setup, and pretty much anything else that could give my shee more bling, better geometry, or that would make it faster.

cylinders 300 crank 125 cases 200 top case 50 transmission 125 flywheel 80 stator and plate 75 clutch pack 75 kickstarter gear, shifter, carbs, intakes and all that other stuff are a few bucks here and there (ebay prices) 800 + shipping for it all
-
dont think you'd want to ship that thing ups unless you feel like paying like 30-40 bucks to pay for shipping. I'll give you 75 + shipping
-
you could also always get some sparky's
-
I dont know if you have anywhere to set it up but you can hold your crank by the flywheel if you get that on by taking a tie down and wrapping it around the flywheel and connecting it to something. It's a lot more useful tip if you have it in the shee. Tip courtesy of Led I believe I'd leave the clutch cover off (might want to put it on and snug it up when putting it into the bike to protect everything etc.) Will be a lot easier to set up the adjustment. You can do it outside the chassis, but you have to connect the lever and have the adjustment all the way in, and then line up the arrow with the case marking. Get a clymers manual, it'll show you exactly how to set it up, pictures speak a thousand words. Your drive sprocket if you use an air gun you should be able to get it pretty darn tight out of the shee, and make sure you have the lock tab for the nut. But if you dont, just wait till the engine gets back into the chassis to throw it on, and you can use the tie down to lock the engine tight as well then. How did those cases ever turn out anyway? I'm sorry about the one problem after another you were having with them.

running 2000 engine, gonna be parting the whole thing out by this weekend hopefully. Has a hole in the bottom case. I have an extra set of cases that I was going to rebuild the engine, still might, and keep the engine as a spare. All depends if I could get enough money for the engine. Will consider selling engine and extra set of cases for right price.

Got a shee that I'm gonna be throwing front fenders back onto it and dont have any brackets for them. I remember minkia's post a couple of you guys had some laying around. Anyone still have any that they'd like to part with? Thanks
-
I'm sure I've got a set laying around somewhere that are in good shape, no cracking etc etc. Give me a couple bucks + shipping and they are yours. I'll look for them tomorrow when I get done work.
