  1. 60mph in the creek water up to the seat? can I ask what gear ratio you had? j/k That was a completely different statement, JIC you didn't catch on. Ya know, all you "'Shee" riders seem to think your quads haul. Now don't get me wrong they are fast and I like Banshees. However I notice that a good majority of Banshee owners are always downing on Blasters. Other than being a slower machine and a lot smaller, what can you say you actually have against them? They look just fine they way there are/were. They're extremely peppy and I've never dragged my Blaster before so it's obvious I've never hit top speed so that doesn't really make any difference in what it is. We could go on to argue about how Banshee's arn't as good on a track as a Blaster, or I could be just like you and claim that the only thing that a Banshee is good for are the parts that would fit on a Blaster. But I won't because I respect Banshee riders. Now why on Earth is it so hard for you guys to show us a little respect? Oh, and all Blasters are 6 speeds. I have an '88.
  2. I only want to spend 1,500 on it because I want to basically do the rebuilding and fixing up on it. I'm pretty sure I said that in my post. Maybe I'll just buy a YFZ instead...450
  3. its already an 88 blaster...how much do u plan on gettin for it? Please READ. I don't plan on selling it, I plan on parting it out. The blaster was given to me or inheritted fromy my grandmother therefore I'm keeping it as a whole but will part out everything performance. Not going to add up to a huge ammount but would help earn more money towards a Banshee.
  4. How do you figure I wouldn't? Do you know what I do for a living?

    Need a cheap shee

Looking for a Banshee, willing to pay up to 1,500 shipped. Any year, any condition, AS LONG AS it does run and move through every gear... So in other words, as long as it starts and has every gear in it I'll take it as a whole as well, no missing plastics or seats... Please.
  6. OK, what do you think about this? Finish putting my money into my Blaster, riding it until late next spring, part it out, and with the money from that and what I've saved over the winter, buy a 2005 Banshee.
  7. Would that be autotrader.com?
  8. It probably is but I don't really want to spend that much money on it. I don't really want to buy a new one because they're so expensive. I still owe 1,300 out of 3,000 I payed for my truck and paying for a Banshee would probably be even more so expensive. I'd just rather get an older one do some clean up work on it a little than start hitting the mods like I did with my Blaster. A new one would be nice but I just don't see myself spending so much money for a new or used one... There was someone trying to sell a '87 shee for 2,200 nearly stock! I couldn't believe it.
  9. I've always had a thing for Banshee's but never had the money. Right now I have a '88 Blaster that is in the middle of some major overhaul. I love the feeling of it and how it fits but before 2-strokes are banned in 2006 I want to pick up a Banshee. I'm looking to spend 1,500 AT MOST. So if you guys know of any sites or people looking to sell that cheap please let me know.
  10. Hi, I'm looking for front banshee stock shocks at a reasonable price. You can E-mail me at [email protected] if you have any available.
