  1. Check ebay. Thats where I got mine. I see them on there a lot.
  2. Make sure your idle screw ( not air mix) is at less one full turn out. If it wont idle like that, adjust it with your cable. If you have the idle screw less than a full turn out you will have problems down low. Bike should be pretty close with what you have in there. Pilot seems small, I might try something a little bigger and play with the air mix screw.
  3. I'm running the same jets. 190 main and 50 pilot. I haven't had much time on this setup so these settings may change. But right now it runs great!
  4. They take the same type of jets. The jetting may be a little different. Here is a little comparson. I have a friend that I ride with every week, we have close to the same mods. I was running 152 mains in my dual 33mm, and he was running 158 mains in his 34mm pj's. Take this has you will, but that sounds pretty close to me. We would also help each other out with jets. Remember this was in a dual setup that I no longer run. A single would take much larger jets.
  5. The T6's pulled the gear, and I thought it did it fine until I got some fattys. Trust me the fattys pull a taller gear mod for mod. The t6's did better on the dyno also. They just dont have the mid range power to pull a taller gear like the fattys. When your trying to pull a long gear you better have a broad power band. T5's and t6's are top end pipes and are better suited for the dunes, but can be used just about anywhere. All pipes shine in there own way.
  6. A 152 main is to small for a single carb setup. That would be close for a dual setup. With no porting I ran a 175 in my 33mm and a 190 in my 35mm, and that was at 4500ft elevation.
  7. Right now I have four sets of pipes. T6's, fmf fattys, Graydon proline, and Pt High Rev. I have had all but the Pt's on the bike. I have been on the dunes with the T6's and the fattys. The T6's with a 13 tooth front gear was the ticket for me at the dunes. The fatty with a 15 tooth for the dirt. The Fatty didn't seem to perform as well at the dunes as the t6's. But on a dirt road with a 15 tooth the fatty was by far the way to go. 14 tooth on both bikes on the dirt road the t6's were faster, but put a 15 tooth on the fattys and it was faster. The t6's wouldn't pull that gear very well, at lease not like the fatty did.
  8. Fast where? If you want it to be fast in the dunes, get t6's, t5's or PC'S. If you want it to be fast down a dirt road, get some pt mids, or fmf fattys and put a 15 tooth front gear on it.
  9. The last test was with Graydon proline pipes. I changed pipes soon after the porting. I didn't notice much of a difference with the T6 pipes after the porting, so I decided to try some different pipes. These new pipes pull a lot better with the porting than the t6's did.
  10. I do mostly mx and trail. I had a type o on the torque for the 33mm's it was 40.8 not 45.8. I corrected it in the post.
  11. Torque was 40.8 @ 7900 rpm for the dual 33mm's, 36.7@ 7000 for the dual stockers, and 36.9 @ 6600 for the single. Two of the dynos are on this site somewhere. This newest one will be up as soon as I can find my camcorder. I also will be doing a dyno on this new single setup. One note is what the power was at 6000 rpm. 35 for the single, 25 for the stock duals, and 13 for the dual 33mm.
  12. Well I tryed out the dual 33mm for a while. I thought with the race logic port that it would be the better route, but I was wrong. With the stock duals I got 52 hp on the dyno, with the single 33mm I got 48hp but 10 more hp on the bottom. With the dual 33mm carbs and port job I got 63hp on the dyno, but no power under 6 grand. I had to go back down on my gears because the 33mm's wouldn't pull them right. It was to easy to shift wrong. The bike was quicker in a drag race but sucked everywhere else. My top speed suffered due to going back down on my gears. This time I decided to try the Graydon Proline. A friend of my has one on his bike and it feels faster than my did with the CV. His setup is a little different than mine was, but I had more mods. All I have to say is this thing rocks!! I think the geared down 33mm's were quicker, but not around the track and not far as top speed goes. I have the taller gear back on and it pulls it great! I cant say if its better than the CV was, because I have porting now. But I can say that the shee is the fastest its every been by far, and I will never go back to duals!
  13. My bike ran better with the 33mm carb. The 35mm was faster some times, just sometimes. the 33mm ran the same all the time. The 33mm also feels snapper.
  14. With no air box I would try 320 mains and a 30 pilot. When I had the t6's and just an k&n filler, air box with no lid thats what I ran. It did 52 on the dyno and it ran great! Your bike and conditions might be different, but this will get you close. Just play with it and check your plugs.
  15. Do just have pipes, or do you have a k&n also, what do you have besides the toomey kit?
  16. I did the race logic also, and my shee is a hell of a lot faster. I'm going to dyno it this week. I beat a shee that did 58 on the dyno sunday, so I guessing I'm in the 60 plus hp range. The kit is easy to do, you just have to take your time.
  17. That carb would work fine. Singles have such great response you wont really notice anybottom end loss. It will just but a little harder to tune in since a 33mm would be a little better with no port work.
  18. Well I got it runing good today. 152 main and a 48 pilot. I'm going to take it down this week, and put it on the dyno. I beat my friend's shee today, and his did 58hp on the dyno. So I'm thinking it should be over 60hp. Don't think I liked it over the single though. I think I would of liked the single and the porting better. It does not have the same thorttle response I've grown to love, and the thumb is a lot harder the push in. Not bad until you get a couple of laps in, but than you start feeling it. I never even thought about it with the single. I also have to work the gears more to get around the track. I do feel faster around now, but with a lot more work.
  19. I ran the dek's , and it ran great! In the 4th spot.
  20. Yeh there keihins. I went and got a few extra jets today. I'm just a little worried about the jets. This port job really opened things up.
  21. I'm about to make a grill for my shee, and some friends. I am the fab manager at a sheet metal shop. We have laser punch combo nc's, so I can make any design out of metal. This comes in handy since I'm trying to get my own shop going. If you guys can come up with some cool designs, I will make some grills. I'm looking for maybe two or three different designs. I dont want to do to many different ones, because it takes me a while to program these. But once I do, I can make as many as I want. I already ran it past the owner and he's cool with it. I will be using .05 ( 18ga ) alum that will be grained. Tonight I'm going to start working on the stock banshee looking one. So lets see some ideas.
  22. come now, whatsup? I know someone is running dual 33mm's
  23. I Just put the race logic port on my shee. I also put CT racings TT pipes, dual 33mm carbs with the trinity stage4 intake, a fresh hone, and new rings. I'm pretty good with jetting, I just want some input on what size mains you guys think would be a good starting point. The rest of my mods are listed below, minus the single 35mm and T6's. I was thinking 162 mains and a 50 pilot.
  24. I second that!
  25. Cpi and a 2 into 1 are two different types of riding. Cpi pipes are a drag pipe, and a 2 into 1 is more for mx and trail. If your at the dunes a lot get the cpi's. If you do a lot of trail, or mx like me get the 2 into 1 and anything but drag pipes. I think the 2 into 1 setup is one of the best setups for sport riding. As for what pipes to get. Where do you want you power at? For all around pipes I like the fmf gold, or t6's. I have both and there great pipes. Cpi pipes are great pipes, but for all around they are NOT.
