  1. Just keep an eye on ebay. They go cheap on there, just dont go buy the first pair you like. Watch a few pair, and get an idea on what is a good price for the pipes you want. Then start bidding. You should have no problem getting a nice set of pipes off there for about 250, or less. I have bought three sets of pipes off there, and all were under 300 dollars. I would sell you a pair, but I love them all and wouldn't know which pair to get rid of.
  2. I have a set, and I love them. They are very much a top end pipe. I have Paul Turner high rev on my bike right now, and the Graydons have more top end. I would say there half way between your standard topend pipe and inframe drag pipes. They work best on ported bikes.
  3. I think you will be fine with the 35mm. But I do think it would run better with the 33mm. Before I had porting my ran better with a 33mm. The 35mm was a little flat up top compared to the 33mm. The 33mm was a little more snappy on the bottom end, and would really scream out 6th gear. The 35mm was also more tempermently, and would run a lot better some days, and not others. The 33mm ran basiclly same all the time. I would keep the 35mm though, because as you add more mods it will be the better carb. P.S. I think anyone getting a 2 into 1 setup should get the 35mm, because you will grow out of the 33mm quick!
  4. He's right, Action SUCKS! A friend of mine has them, they have bad fit, and ride to close to the shocks.
  5. Last night she started breathing on her own, so thats real good. But she will still be in ICU for at lease a couple more weeks they say. I wish I could of seen some of you guys out there. I was hoping the meet some HQers out there. I did meet a lot of cools people out there. Also I kocky guy on a real fast 450. I was beating all the 450's with pipes and bolt on's, but this one guy had a REALLLLLLL fast 450. I didn't know they had enough stuff out yet to get those things that fast. He just keep beating me , and there was nothing I could do . . Might be time to stick this 4mm in that I have. Because he wasn't beating me by much, maybe a quad at the top of the hill.
  6. We'll Sand Mountain was a blast until by wife got hurt. For you that made it there, you might of seen it. She was riding my blue lt250r, and didn't slow down for a razor. She went end over end, and now is in ICU at Washoe Med. It sucks when your having the time of your life, and this kind of stuff happens.
  7. I know fallon race way is at 3500ft, and you can see sand mountain from there. I think there pretty close. If I run race gas I usally dont have to adjust to much. But on pump gas I go up a jet . Your elevation is lower already, you might not have to do to much. I like my bikes running a little rich to be on the safe side. We will have 10 to 15 bikes out there. I would like to meet some other HQers out there. I have a friend pulling my trailer out there friday night, and I will also be out there friday night. I wish Hq had stickers, so we would know that is a HQer.
  8. Well thats the way I go, and I get there fine. I take 95 south to vegas and then 50. I think driving all the way though fallon is the slow way to go, but to each his own. Hope I see both of you out there.
  9. Hey that's cool, I'll be there this weekend. Get off at the the second fallon exit, and follow the signs going to Vegas. You cant miss it. When you go pass fallon race way look to your left. You have to drive about a mile and a half in the dirt, but its not bad. I hear thats there is so many people out there already that you might have to park on the highway. Hope I see you out there.
  10. I got the Graydon off ebay. I love this intake. I have a lot more top end then I had, but I also have a mild port and different pipes. My best friend and I both have the intakes, and his bike also has more topend than my trinity did. He has less mods then I, and has no porting. I would have to say you keep more of your top end. His bike feels like it has more top end than the stockers. He is pulling bikes up top that couldn't before.
  11. I know it doesn't work on my pipes. The stinger will go on the pipes, but is to long to line up to the rear bolt holes. Stingers are made a certain lenth for a reason. Top end pipes need to bleed off more back pressure, so there shorter. Mid range pipes bleed off less so there longer. I think someone modified those stingers on his, or there not pc2's. You might be able to use the silencers with no problems, but I know the stingers are to long.
  12. Yeah, I'm skeptical that any one pipe companys silencers would happen to have the same exact meating point, flange size, and angle as anothers. I just heard someone say on a thread that the T-5 and older toomy's would fit the FMF Fatty/Gnarley silencers. I think if they fit they should work fine together but the cahances of fittng interchangeably without modification are probably slim. The Gnarleys are awsome for the riding I do near home, but I would like more top end for dune riding so I was hoping the the T-5s would work with the trubine core II's. Dirtbike Killer, Which model of Toomeys do you have? I have the t'6. You can get the silencers on there but the back bolt doesn't line up. The sst silencers I hear or top end pipes. Their silencers may fit.
  13. You can make anything fit, but they don't work right together. You dont want a long stinger on a topend pipe or a short stinger on a mid pipe. You will mess with the design of the pipe. I let my friend use my fmf silencers after a dirtbiker side swiped him and messed up his Pc's. The bike ran alright , but not great it was always a little off. I know you would have to do a little modding to get those on, because they are a lot longer. If you didn't someone else did, because they just dont bolt on. I'm sure you didn't buy them new, and if you did.........well I'm just hoping you didn't
  14. I know the the toomey's and the fatty's are not, I have both. The toomey's are short and made for a top end pipe. The fattys are a lot longer and are made for mid range pipe.
  15. See if they have a jet exchange program. Most places I go to have this, even the dealership. That way its free to get jets, after you buy the first few so you have something to exchange.
  16. Banshee Honda 250r Suz lt250r Ds650 Honda 450r yfz450r
  17. Like I said you cant have your idle screw turned all the way in. It has to be at lease one full turn out. You can band-ad it and you might get it to run better, but it wont be right. The idle screw has to be at lease one full turn out. If it wont idle fix it with your cable.
  18. I had T6's on my bike with every bolt on you can get, and I ripped!
  19. DS650 are fast in stock trim. A stock banshee can not beat one. Unless the guy on the Ds is a ready bad rider or weights 300 pounds. I ride with one all the time and he beats stock banshee's all day. I ride his all the time and their a blast! When you take off its hard to keep the front end on the ground, just the opposite of the shee. They also have the best top speed of all the stock quads. You put pipes on the shee and its a different story.
  20. They are great pipes, and will be a lot more forgiving when you shift to early.
  21. I ran with my t6's , and it ran great. A lot more bottom end.
  22. When you get that Mikuni dialed in let us know what your running for jets and pilots. I have a 36mm Mikuni that I've been wanting to try, but didn't want to start all over again on the jets. It Would be nice to have a start point. Remember when your asking questions about these carbs. That most of us run the Keihin's which take a different type main and pilot jet. A 50 keihin pilot wont be what you want in a Mikuni. Problem something a lot smaller, and just the other way on the main jets, something a lot bigger.
