Well if your pipes came with silencers that have packing in them its a sure deal that you need the packing in it. It wont have enough backpressure with out it unless the pipes are designed to run with out silencers.

the tugg hill region is like 50 miles north of syracuse. Its a plateau that gets tons of snow. I live like right at the bottom of the tug hill plateau. Its east of the lake so the lake affect snow comes over and just dumps over us. If you have a snowmobile you gotta come up its great up here. good trails for quads too, nice sand dunes in some places its cool up here. As far as i know the world record for the most snowmobilers in one ride took place up in barnes corners or around that area which is in the tug hill region.

Ive never seen a 250r run before and i want to so bad i want to know what they can do. My friend is thinking of getting one this spring so he has something that could keep up with me. All i can say is the first time i ever road a banshee i couldnt imagine anything being able to beat it.

I'm pretty sure sputtering is caused from being lean because when mine sputtered i went up on my jetting and it helped it. move your clip down to richen the mid range rpms. you will probably need to go up on your pilots too or maybe just turn the air screws in. I'd also go up on your main jets. Try starting at like 320 or something and go down on it till it runs better.

I know this sounds like a racist company but i have WHITE power racing shocks My shee handles great with them though and lands like its on air.

I actually heard that they might come out with a 500 4 stroke banshee. Dont know if its true but a friend of mine knows a guy at a yamaha dealer. Thats how i know. I hope its not true, that would shame the name banshee to put a 4 stroke engine in it.

Get a removal kit for it and just take off all that junk. I beleive white brothers has a kit. it comes with idle screws new tops and a throttle cable.

As far as i know the only thing that can beat it stock for stock is the Quadzilla 500. Maybe the new 450s and the DS 650 could take it though, i dont know what they can do.

I dont know how loud it is but i'm pretty sure mine does the same thing. It could be that your clutch is slipping. I dont think its that big of a deal though. As long as your getting the power to the ground and it goes allright you should be fine.

Jeeze cant we all just agree on something? so what if a banshee will smoke a 700 or what ever. All that matters is that we all like to ride atv's and ride em hard. As long as we all have fun we're set. I know it's hard for me to imagine anything being able to beat a modded banshee. Im sure that a 700 kawi has got to be pretty fast. My friends scrambler 500 is fairly fast. They'd be great quads if kawi would do something to reduce the weight on it. I think they should also make an optional manual tranny for those who like manual trannies.

I dont know if this is true but a friend of mine who knows a person who works at a dealer said that yamaha is coming out with a new 4 stroke banshee 500 . Thats gonna really suck if this is true, it will put shame to the name banshee. I'll never buy a 4 stroke banshee, I hate how companies are giving into tree huggers.
