  1. Try getting hold of an edge or something and peel it off. Or try taking a torch and melting it off. Thats all i can think of i probably wouldnt go with the torch thing it your pipes are real nice.
  2. I beleive that brass tube has something to do with the choke. Thats probably why it's on only one carb since the one side chokes both carburetors. I use to have a fuss getting my carburetors in but i found it easiest to put the air box side in first then push in as much as you can then get the engine side in.
  3. I dont have a big bore kit, but you could look into an online parts catalog like www.rockymountainatv.com or www.denniskirk.com I beleive both deal in wiseco pistons. 1.877.FASTOYS thats trinity racings number. They deal with the 420 kits i beleive. I hope i gave any significant advice to you.
  4. I have the same problem, only it happens when it gets real hot and kinda seizes. I just force it open.
  5. Forget dirtbike engines, all you need is that 350 twin 2 stroke power
  6. Thanks man. I have kinda had my eyes set on those, and a lot of people say they are really good so ill save up some bucks and have them hopefully by this spring. Does anyone know if they will work with my silencers, i have bills silencers on it now. I'm just trying to keep my spending low since i dont have a good job and not a whole lotta money. I don't live far from D&D racing, i think that they could do a nice job on the porting.
  7. If your into riding dunes save your money up for some toomies or some PTR high rev pipes.
  8. I had the same problem, just make sure your slides are the same hight like fixitrod said. If your carbs seem to be synced and everything is set up right you may have to take them apart and make sure none of the jets are clogged up at all.
  9. The mailbox bashing isn't cool, but that story of how you drove through trees and made it back to a road is some real dukes of hazard shit.
  10. K&N filters are terrific. I have one on my pos polaris and it helped it run very well. They are great because they are reusable. I wouldnt go the cheap route and mod the stock filter adaptor. The good thing about the proflo adaptor is that it is metal and wont bend or anything when you clamp the filter on. If you want to get a proflo adaptor i would look on ebay. I got mine for about 26 bucks so thats the way to go versus paying 45 for the adaptor and an other 45 for the filter.
  11. I had a wiseco hot rods crank put in after i blew my crank last fall. It doesnt vibrate as much and is a lot smoother. It is quite pricey though, if your crank is still good its a lot cheaper to get it trued and welded.
  12. Go with the barnetts springs, and get an ez-pull kit for it. They work great.
  13. I am interested in purchasing a new set of pipes for my shee this spring. I'm wondering if FMF gnarleys or ptr mids would be much better then my old bills pipes (over 15 years old.) It runs good now and ripps very well, but i think i could get more out of it with some up to date pipes. An other option i was thinking of was getting it ported for trail riding and mx. Please post your opinions. Thanks.
  14. It could just be a bad belt also. Maybe the belt is blown or is very worn out. If its the clutch i dont think they are much to fix or replace on a little quad like that.
  15. I think that the holeshots and razors are the best. I run turf tamers right now and they hook up great except in mud. I think that the holeshots are the best deal since they are cheaper then razors from what i have seen.
  16. I live right in the Tughill region! My barn even says tughill farm on it!!. I live in sandy creek its southwest of barnes corners. Me and my friends go up to barnes corners, timberview, montague, and all over snowmobiling. I do a lot of fourwheeling in redfield and up near kellog hill. I also live like 5 miles north of Pulaski if any of you salmon fish you will know where this is.
  17. My cousin has one of them its sweet as hell. Looks wicked fast too
  18. You could probably fit a cr250r engine in a 250 r. I'm not positive but it could probably happen. I think the sickest dirtbike engine in a quad would be a CR 500 into a 250r frame. Awsome power and awsome handling.
  19. Slap a throttle lengthener on it to get a little more leverage with your thumb. An other thought, if your racing mx try a single carb setup, you'll get more bottom end power and easier throtle pull, depending on your carb.
  20. Yea i got a sweet paintball gun for christmas. I'ts a piranha r6. My friends also have em they are fun as hell.
  21. That is very nice, i bet it shines real good when its clean.
  22. No problem man
  23. The Sled Shed Als Snowmobile warehouse. Those are two good part salvage places. The sled shed is about 40 minutes from me they have everything just about for old and new sleds. I got a complete indy 500 engine for like 800 from them. They rebuild anything rebuildable and sell em. Als snowmobile warehouse has a good selection of parts too.
  24. Yea best bet is send it back, then you can get the one you need.
  25. I've got an RC10T1!! it's awsome and is fast. It's cool how so many people are into RC cars on the bansheehq.
