  1. My stepbro had an 87 CR125 it was pretty sick, he had a pro circuit pipe on it, i'd get one of them and maybe if the tires aren't that good get some of them. Also since its so old check the compression and just make sure the engine doesnt need to be rerung before you start modding it. I'd just do stuff like that to fix it up so you have a solid bike that can be modded.
  2. If you have a truck or a jeep or something like that, i'd say get an inclosed trailer for now. That way you have a place to keep it and also a way of transporting it.
  3. Can't see pictures. Let us all know how it compares to your other toys. I know it wont stand much against that CR500 Banshee, but how does it compare to the Predator?
  4. New York is very ridiculous, i live in the tug hill area and there are some good trails. But then there is tons of state land that you cant even ride on. I'm talking about nice trails and the only people who can go on them are the god damn DEC officers. Me and my friend got pulled over like 2 years ago on our polarises. It's bull shit, the land should be for the people and if there is all ready trails then why the f*ck can't we ride em.
  5. Yesterday i just got some new rims that i won off of ebay for my banshee. They are stock banshee rims but are in a lot better shape then the ones on mine now and they only costed 46 bucks for 4. Well i decided to polish them up yesterday but since it's winter it was too cold for the polish to dry. If any of you have had this problem, what i did was take a propane torch to em, it dried out real fast and when i buffed them up they looked very shiney
  6. I think they should definitely come out with a more original name or just name it the warrior.
  7. I'd go with the 20's, you'd accelerate quicker with them on. But with the bigger tires on you'd have better ground clearance which would help in xc. You would also be able to lug it around a little easier at lower speeds.
  8. If they made em for Banshees, i'd have to say Fox shocks. I've ridden snowmobiles with fox shocks and they are very good. My buddies scrambler also has Fox shocks on it and I like them a lot.
  9. I have to push the shit around almost every day with the john deer. We have like 10 foot high banks in my parking lot it's insane. I also have to plow my whole field out so i can get out with our magnum to dump the horse shit. Then i have to plow out an area back there for the horses and so i can turn the magnum around and back in to the shit pile. I don't mind it too much because it's all good when im out rippin on the sled.
  10. Sounds like you pretty much have your shit together. I've never raced for long periods of time but all i can say is get some good rest. Good luck.
  11. Yea I'd say start with a few engine mods and do a buncha suspension mods. Suspension mods are more expensive but in my opinion are more important. If your gonna be drag racing get a longer swingarm, if your gonna be trail riding or MXin get a shorter swingarm. Get some good front suspension too. Don't base decisions solely on our input either. Do some research and see the specs of products you are interested in and compare to get the best for the best deal.
  12. Up here we have towns where its leagal to ride atvs on the road TugHill RULES!!! Some towns dont allow it but a lot of em do.
  13. Hell if it runs fine then the gas aint too bad. I wouldnt let it get over a month old though. What i do is syphon it out and put it in my car. Well not with the banshee but i can do that with my sled.
  14. What ever color you think would look good. Try putting a picture of your Banshee up then maybe we can think of some colors that might work.
  15. LMFAO one time me and my friends were watching a sandwizards video and they were drag racing and my friend asked "what are those birds doing chasing the fourwheelers?" it was so funny!!!! we were watching it in class so the who class started laughing.
  16. good Jarb. I wanted to post but it was locked. Its funny how they are like put no money into either and the yfz will win. But you put money into some pipes for the banshee and its still around a grand less and will kick its ass.
  17. If it's still fouling in one side check to make sure your compressions are the same. You may need a rebuild if they have a difference in em. Also make sure your wires are good. You could also try jetting it down a little bit.
  18. As long as it's there who cares about scratches?? Get the pipe dude.
  19. I have FMF 909 grips, they are comfortable but wear out fast.
  20. i'd get some port work done. If you havent all read though id get some new tires first, then get a tooth bigger front sprocket.
  21. Yeup my uncle did that with mine when he raced it b4 i bought it from him. I still wrap it with tape when im done workin on it.
  22. I'm only 18 so i live with my mom still, but it really pissed her off when i cleaned out my carbs in the sink in the winter time. Also don't ever go mudding and forget to empty your pockets out of your clothing, grass and mud gets all in the washer and dryer.
  23. I knew my uncle had a banshee since he bought it brand new in 87. I didn't really ever see him drive it because he never had time to with his job and all, so it just sat in my grandma shed for years. I started to get into fourwheeling and read magazines and they had some good stuff about banshees in em and banshees were all over the magazines for ads and stuff. Well i was like wow my uncle has one of them it must be pretty good. One day i decided to get er running and put some fresh gas in it. It hadn't been runnin in like 7 years or more, i started it in 2 kicks! i was like holy shit that sounds good. i started riding it around and as soon as i hit the powerband on it i was like WOW!!! I was very hooked after that and decided to buy it off of him for 1250.
  24. That movie is the shit!!!!!!! I think that would work good if a cop was to pull you over.... Or he would just laugh and still get your for drunk driving or something. Farley was one of the best
  25. Thats great!! too bad i had to work OH well i'd probably be snowmobiling if i didnt have to work. Last years superbowl i blew my sled up that night after riding home so i guess im lucky i didnt go riding.
