Wassup350

I'm trying to replace the axle bearings, and i can't get my axle out of the housing. Is there some sort or trick to doing this, or should i take it somewhere to get it pulled?

I wish i could afford the last year. I think it would be kinda special to have the last of its kind. Brand new is nice too no problems, and the bushings are all good. Oh well though i guess time will tell.

I almost got beat by a stock shee, because i wasnt hitting the powerband. Once i hit the powerband i blew by him.

If you don't have the snorkel on the air box lid and want to save money. This is what i did, take your seat off, and measure the distance between the 2 bolts on the back of the gas tank, after that take a piece of plastic or something that will hold up and drill some holes in it to mount up to the frame, then drill a hold where the key can go and then you should be set. If you don't want to bother doing that then you could buy one from somewhere. not sure who makes them but i know they are out there.

Meat that bike is sweeeet. I wouldn't mind gettin my hands on a bike like that. Xt75 this post is useless like im sure other people said. THERE IS NOT QUAD SIMILAR. The banshee is the only 2 stroke 2 cylinder twin pipe n carbed quad out there. There are other quads out there that are two strokes but they are all single cylinders, and the powerbands are very different as they have better bottom end power. From what i hear the DS 650 has a similar powerband to the shee. It kinda lugs when driven slow and wants to be ridden hard just like the shee. Heres some pictures of some rd 350s and rz 350s i found.

I run turf tamers. They aren't very good through the mud, or on gravel, but on grass and dirt they hook up like a dream. I myself avoid mud as much as possible, for one thing i have cut fenders so its just a mud shower waiting to happen, and it just doesnt have the bottom end to pull through the mud, and the tires spin wildly. I could probably make it through some of the mud around here if i went like 50 and then hydroplaned across

Roost King, you dont even know what your talking about. You ever read the magazines? The YFZ is one of the fastest accelerating quads, but for top end speed the stock DS is the fastest.

The RZ and RD 350 engines were engines that were in 80s models street bikes. They are what the banshees engines were based on. They are basically the same bottom end as the shee with power valved cylinders. I never heard of the tz though.

I got my 87 shee from my uncle for 1250. Put about 1000 bucks worth of work into it. Once i get outta college im gonna put a lot more into it. Or buy a brand new one.

Slap some good exhaust pipes on er and smoke him next time. Those DS 650s are fast though, they are the fastest stock production quad out. I heard that their powerband is similar to a 2 stroke too which is pretty nice. But if you get some pipes and maybe gear it up one front sprocket size you should be able to beat him.

Its not that, it starts in like 2 pulls. The plugs are a lice tan color which looks near perfect. I think it may have something to do with my fuel pump but im not sure its wierd. When i hold it at WOT for around a minute it will ripp very well then start to cut out. Then today i was riding it and it did it so i parked it and it wouldn't start back up and it kept flooding.

My friend thinks hes all tough. Hes got a suzuki 230 quadsport!!! He rags on me when my shee breaks. But his quad is like 2 times slower then mine, and its broke down and he doesnt even bother to fix it.

I know this isn't Banshee related, but when i ride my sled it cuts out when i floor it. I checked the spark plugs and they are dark brown. Which i think is just about on the money. It's a 1992 Indy 500 with a 1996 xcr 440 exhaust and 34 mm carbs. With 250 main Jets. If any of you can help me that would be great.

Those DMV people can be good for nothing thats ridiculous. It's not a freakin life or death matter if the god damn vin isn't perfectly legible. I don't know what to say though that sucks.

How much polution do you think a little fourwheeler can put out??? its not like there are millions of fourwheelers out there that are two strokes all riding at the same time like cars. I bet 2 stroke quads and sleds put out an 1/8th of the polution that cars and trucks do all together. Those tree huggers should look into this shit more because they are stupid and should all go to hell.

Get a big pickup truck with big tires. Im sure you could find an F-250 super duty under 15000. My friend has an F-250 and that thing goes through snow with ease.

I drive a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire GT. The thing has 184000 miles on it and still runs like a champ. It's got a 2.4 liter 4 cylinder and i think it puts out about 140 horse from what pontiac claims it has. I need a truck very bad though, i love having a nice sporty car but i really need something to throw the shee in the back of and my sled.

I started out on a Polaris trailblazer. I knew my uncle had an 87 banshee sittin in the shed for years, but didnt know if it ran. I took it out put some new gas in it, kicked it over twice, and heard that baby roar. Just hearing the thing as soon as i started it i knew it had power. My uncle use to race the thing but then he got too busy to ride it for a while. I ended up buying it off of him for 1250. Since then i put 1000 bucks of work into it.

I agree with cool raptor. I bougth my banshee off my uncle and he raced back in the 80s. He raced mx and cut the fenders for that purpose. The stock fenders also will cause quite a bit of drag since they are very flat they are almost like air traps the way they are designed.

Besides the Banshee i'd say that the best duners would be the DS 650, and probably the Quadzilla 500. I havent hear anything about the quadzilla but i have heard that the ds acts like a 2 stroke and has a ton of top end power. Of course the 250R has to be pretty damn good too but ive never ridden one of them either so i dont know how they ride. I've ridden on sand before and when i ride sand i want a lot of top end power. Im sure the yfz would be good but i dont think it would be one of the best.

I go snowmobiling. I actually like snowmobiling more then fourwheeling. Me and my friends go on like 100 mile rides its great. other then fourwheelin and snowmobiling i like to go fishing too, and when its a rainy day i play video games.

What exactly is it doing? is it bogging down? Or is it heating up rapidly? Does it seem to sputter? Is it reving high but your getting no power? You're kinda vague with your explaination of what is going wrong.

Yea a the 250R definitely shoulda been on it. I like the banshee the best though. and quadzillas are junk, i heard they broke down a lot and the frames are weak.
