  2. I swear one of the best investments a banshee owner can make is to get a Clymers Manual. YEPPERS!!....If you do take your side case off to adjust the cluch do yourself a favor and drill like a two inch hole in the case.next time you have to adjust the clutch u don't have to remove the case.just remove the round cover plate...
  3. Ahh,The Twist throttle ...I was in the weeds a few times the first time out with the twist throttle.... ...After that I love it and will never go back to thumb throttle.Everyone is different!!
  4. I agree...i run Klotz super tech.plate....It as 10% bean and everyone behind me says it smells awsome...
  5. The mark on the case is the split between the two case halfs.
  6. I'm not sure why.That's what I heard,if it's true or not I don't know.
  7. I thought I was screwed after losing my job after 8 years. The company was sold, alot of work went over seas and in the area. I had it made being the boss.now I'm "working" and like it alot...ALSO making way more $$$....So it truned out for the best!!I also made a huge carrer change.... As far as the girl, ya it sucks.Dont let that hold you back! I'm headed to the badlands this spring.if you live near by stop in and I'll buy ya a hell I was single for a while and just had my SHEE...I did nothing but ride!!
  8. PM 1800bigk...He has a 2003 tranny....
  9. a friend suggested using ether to start it but im not too comfortable with the idea. No way...I would never do anything like that!!I would say lean on the pilot jet,but you tried that.hmmmm The cold and mods will not make a shee start like that.Something is wrong.....
  10. That was a interesting site.I asked about the tranny cutting because I have to replace some worn gears.it's popping between gears.I'm just going to replace the worn gears.the only bad thing I heard was...you need to use the clutch a hair to shift and have to make sure your all the way in gear.Which is not a big deal...anyways it also sounds pretty $$$$.....
  11. I'm looking for stock airbox with lid and stock clutch and brake levers....
  12. I wouldn't worry about anything else until you get some color on the plug!!Do your plug chops...Some people read the smoke ring on a brand new plug.2 -4 mm I belive is good to go.....
  13. Has anyone done this?do you like it?

  16. I didn't like my IMS tank.Didn't fit very well.I bought a clark and it a dream!!
  17. I've been riding T-5's on trails for 4 years...Rode PC's one time on the trail and now I'm looking to trade my T-5's for fatty's or maybe pC's.T-5's are a pain in the ass to stay in the power!!!!You really don't use the top of the pipe on the trails.
  18. I wet sanded mine with 400 600....
  19. I'm looking to trade my T-5 for fatty's.A guy here at the site has FMF gold series signature pipe. What is this pipe???I always hear Fatty's with powercore 11 or something. Is there anything special or different about the pipe and sileners? Thanks guys
  20. Personally I wouldn't do it. You might gain a couple horses but you also might ruin your chance of getting a proffessional port job down the road. I agree....polish your exhaust ports and call it quits.
  21. What he said....
  22. I just started to do my homework with A-arms and shocks.i want entended travel with the front and rear shock.Do all the setups offer this?i think I will be going with +2+1 arms. What about the ones that adjust camber,is that worth it for trail riding?
  23. I belive this is the key at the end of your crankshaft, holding your flywheel in position....
  24. port and polish......When polishing do you guys polish everything?...intakes,transfer and boost ports....My intakes and exhaust ports and pretty good.Just wondering if there will be a difference with the transfers and boost ports polished.
  25. All you guys that upgrade your A-arms and shocks.Did you notice a big difference in handling and getting the power to the ground with the rear shock?
