  2. I have FMF power core2 pipes on my banshee right now and looking to upgrade to new and better pipes.... what would any of you suggest on buying??? Thanx Tyler Yeppers, that is a can of worms that most of us been through!
  3. which roller is it the upper or lower?I bought the kit from UPP upper, lower and slide and never had a problem....I always ran just the lower with the strut I had on.it would wear out in a year.Once I put the stock strut back on with a elka shock and the kit from UPP...ALL is well!
  4. Check out carbparts.com.They have no limit.....They always have everything in stock....
  5. Your're finding netural betwwen the gears.I had/have the same problem.I had to replace the lower gears in the tranny.the dogs were worn down.the upper gears looked great.By changing this it help ALOT!!!.I still have a slight problem,BUT I think it's me while shifting.I do have a modded shift star.I had it ground down by booman. His work was mint but think my mistake was I gave him a worn shift star to begin with!I'm replacing my clutch now soooooooo either a stock star is going in or a NEW modded star is going in not sure yet.. hope this helps...
  6. Years back I have never had any problems running the o-rings,BUT been told from alot of people not to run.I 've been leaving them out for years...
  7. I just bought one......
  8. Hmmm are you guys using the lock up for racing and/or riding trails?...I'm nothing but a hard core trail rider...
  9. I agree 100%.i bought a new flange many years ago to go from a foam filter to K&N filter. To this day I'm glad I have the K&N filter.less dirt in the carbs!!
  10. Does anyone have a stock front left spindle in good shape,to fit a '96 shee.I bent mine on the last ride... Scott
  11. ok guys,I rode the shee this past weekend and kept in mind the jetting and/or clutch problems that I have.Holding the shee at 3/4 throttle and going WOT sometimes it sounds like the motor will fall flat on it's face. Also when doing this the RPM's will jump up .I did many speed shift runs and the damn thing just pulled like hell. The motor sounded awsome! But when I'm on/ off the throttle, I have No consistency.sometimes it pulls and don't.I'm a bit shunned from a jetting problem because there is no consistency.I feel I will be calling Jeff for a clutch. Dos anyone have any comments?
  12. I have a used rear lowering strut sitting around, that I bought from J&L.If ya in the states I can ship it for $20 if your interested.BUT I not sure if it will work on your +4 swinger.I would think it shouldn't make a difference thou..... Scott
  13. Last year I smoked a dirt digger in a afternoon....
  14. Interesting.....I think I'll leave the shee alone until I ride again.I'll have to pay more attention to the RPM's.
  15. when you get in the higher rpm's does it feel like its still revving just nto going anywhere? I would say yes....holding at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle you can feel the RPM's get higher and higher. At WOT the RPM's grow so damn fast. I feel the same as Locogato it's the clutch.I don't think I have a worn pressure plate or hub there new from last year. Can any others add their 2 cent's....
  16. ummm,The clutch is stock and replaced last year.I do have 6 heavy duty springs in.....
  17. If you didn't get the flywheel off yet.Once you have the puller on smack the puller with a hammer.tap it a few times and tighen the puller and repeat ....
  18. I have one last problem with the shee....I have a harder pull at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle, than WOT.You can really feel the pull in the midrange and drop off at the end of the gear. Also the gears last twice as long than being at WOT.I know the jetting is fine.I'm thinking I either have more wheel spin at WOT and/or the clutch is slipping.I don't know....Has anyone had this type of problem before? There's been alot of talk about the street bike clutch working great for alot of you.How can you tell if my clutch is slipping? Is there some type of test i can do next time riding.
  19. Ya every little bit helps...I have the stock clutch with 6 heavy springs.....Anyways,I was just thinking back when I blew my old cluthch a couple of years ago.I started to loose power here and there until it went. For some reason I had it in my mind that the clutch is not working until you pull the leaver.I had it backwords!!
  20. Ahhhh good old piston ports!!I had this done on two rebuilds and did notice just a tad more HP.BUT,broke the skirts in the same year!I gave this up years ago and just been doing a ring job for the last 4 years.
  21. Can anyone explain how a clutch will put the power to the ground? I hear people trying all kinds of clutches and see such a improvement.I just don't understand how a clutch can do this. I do know on my shee I seem to have a harder pull in the midrange than WOT.The plugs look great with a chop.I just think I have more wheel spin at WOT than the midrange.
  22. If I ever have problems with my shee I rule out air leaks. If I was you do a pressure test.I spent under $10 for the parts from a hardware store.I would start with that!
  23. most pipe kits come with the correct jetting if you have no other mods.I just bought a set of fatties and they came with mains.Your boost bottle and taking the snorkel off, you'll should be fine.
  24. I ran T-5's for trails for years.I just put on fatties and love them!!T-5's are to much work for the trails....All you do is clutch the piss out of it.Also like above the hit is very hard.I also did notice less tire spin with the fatties....
  25. Yep I just got my arms, it took a while.....The product is mint!!
