  1. looks good, will be cool to see how it turns out.
  2. i have a ims 5.6 gallon and so does two others that i ride with and we absolutely love them. I have owned a clarke also, never installed it, and i do agree the clarkes to look better. Cody
  3. i sanded really good first starting out coarse and ending up fine with wet sand, then sprayed down with krylon fusion flat black, then used some cheap spray can clear, and it turned out really nice. Girlfreind did the same but used a adhesion prometer before she painted and hers turned out pretty much the same and appears to stick about the same so you could probably skip the adhesion promoter if you wanted.
  4. hey man whats going on, didnt realize they didnt have mains and pilots in them. I figured i shoulda took a peek in them but she assured me they were in there. Pm me and ill see what i can do for ya. My bad. Everything else show up okay? Thanks Cody
  5. lol ya id say you did, the carbs alone are worth more than 150 for sure. They ran great on her bike, the reed cages appear to be ported not sure who did it, and the carbon fiber reeds are in great shape. The plastic idle screw you need is like 2 dollars from any of the site sponsors, ( had to steal it for her 36 mm pwk airstrykers)
  6. was he running a airfilter ( what kind) where was the sand entering the motor?
  7. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270682713292&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
  8. Shearers for the win, girlfreind and bestfreind both have cpis, and i have shearers and they pull much harder. The cpis do have a touch more midrange, but i wouldnt trade my shearers for anything. Besides maybe passions new sniper pipes lol. Cody
  9. Unless they have holes, or massive dents (which can also be fixed) you could always sand blast them and paint them vht black. (you will want to burn the carbon and oil out first with torch before sandblasting otherwise dirt will stick to the oil when sandblasting) Cody
  10. All cranks will fail eventually, the bonus is the hotrods will be trued and welded from factory, and is a nice piece. You should have no problems for quite awhile. Cody
  11. These pipes are amazing looking and run great! I love my shearers wouldnt trade them for anything! Damnit on the clutch i just bought mine last week from you guys! Cody
  12. Was hopin you would chime in! Thanks and im glad to hear these things are handling the abuse! Sounds like everybike should have one! Cody
  13. they can be a pain in the arse if you bike has a nasty habit of welding the crank to the flywheel! Ask me how i know! Cody
  14. If you like your cpis youd be very impressed with a set of shearers, and most likely even more impressed with the snipers! I love my shearers, can wait to see some snipers run!
  15. just ordered two of them, are these things handling the vibrations?
  16. Just the screws. The basket has captured nuts.
  17. i beleive you should be able to just get away with a tors elim cable.
  18. Ok ill put in my 2 cents I have a 4 mill passion motor, with a cut and rechambered stock head. Works great and is stealthy, work jim did looks really nice. Now that head put me at about 185 or so psi, it would be nice to be able to have the ability to change the domes and the cool heads do look really nice. I dont remember what jim charged me for the work on the head but i know it was almost damn near nothing since he was porting the cylinders also (passion 12 port). However i will be looking hard at a noss head here in the future do to the bling factor and ability to change the octane requirements of the motor. Both are great mods and yield similar gains, it all depends on how much ya wanna spend and what your looking for Stealth vs bling Do you want to change octane requirements? Its obvious the noss head is the way to go if you got the cash, but the stock head that is cut AND RECHAMBERED is not a bad way to go either if your tight on cash. Cody
