  1. I'm running 18cc domes, drag ported by Grand River Racing, stock stroke 350, 175 psi in both cylinders with a fresh top end
  2. AMEN to that one!!!
  3. That's great news Stan!! Glad your pops made it through OK...knee surgeries are a really common thing nowadays. You'll be amazed at how quick he'll get back in the swing of things, and most importantly, he won't be in the pain he was before Thanks for the update Stan, best wishes to your pops on a speedy recovery!
  4. How do you figure they trash your coil springs? Are you talking about them damaging the paint on the coil or actually damaging the spring? That is the first I've ever heard of it....kind of hard to believe. I'm all ears though
  5. I just had a nice and smooth transaction with Chapman...quick to respond and ship out. Two thumbs up!
  6. hmmmmm, interesting. Has it done this all along or did it just recently start feeling hotter than usual? Typically the bike will run a little cooler if the jetting is rich. Also, have the temperatures in your area been hotter than normal?
  7. Well, honestly I would think that since your pushing two cylinder's exhaust through one pipe that it would definitely run hotter than normal, but if it's hot enough to melt gaskets, etc., it could be too lean as you were thinking. What do your plugs look like?
  8. You must be on crack, man...my out of frames from Andy are perfect, absolutely flawless. The welds are beautiful and the pipes fit great, better than most out of frames I see on other people's bikes. If he stole so much from your family, why didn't you file a lawsuit against him???? Maybe because he isn't a thief and you don't have a legitimate case?
  9. LOL, could be!!! Whatever it is though, it seems to work pretty good and isn't too expensive! Maybe I should do some recon on the mystery chemical in the plastic renew....might be able to come up with a cheaper alternative
  10. I'm interested too...how much are you thinking for the price?
  11. I've used plastic renew and it worked well as long as there aren't any deep scratches you're trying to remove. But, if all you're looking to do is remove some minor scratches and make the plastics shine, plastic renew works really well if you take your time and do it like the instructions tell you. I found that starting with a 400 grit "wet sand" paper and moving up to 800 grit, then 1,200 grit works great (sand lightly too), then follow up with the chemical that comes in the kit. You'll have to put 3 or 4 coats of the chemical on there but when it's done, the scratches are gone and it looks like a clear coat is on them.
  12. Yes, exactly.
  13. Cool!!! I'm on it now
  14. 30 bucks + shipping for the chrome dogbone?
  15. Here ya go....we'll save the trouble of having to click on a link
  16. They look pretty good, how much you wanting to get for the whole set?
  17. It's best to have them hosted on another site and link to them...or you could send them to me and I'll host them for you...did you just get the fronts done and not the rear? [email protected]
  18. Uh oh...does that mean you don't like them?
  19. Got your bumper, handlebars, and lights coming to ya this weekend....the lights aren't in the "best" shape but for free...ya can't go wrong
  20. Hey, that's cool... Well, first off here is the XC forum on this site. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showforum=28 There's not a whole lot of info in there but it would be the "appropriate" forum to ask questions about XC. Don't make another post, this is just for future reference. www.rockymountainatv.com is a great place to get parts from...they have a lot of stuff in stock and usually will ship the same day if ordered before 1pm. If I were to go with an XC setup, I'd run a 2 into 1 carb for sure, it helps with low end response and ease of jetting. You're on the right track about the gearing, probably want to go with a 20" rear tire though. I just purchased a set of Maxxis I-razrs and I love them for woods riding. They hook great and won't bite too hard when you want to slide. You definitely want to look into a new suspension, maybe some aftermarket a-arms and shocks all around. I've never heard of those pipes before, what kind of power range are they supposed to have? (mid-top, top end only, all around) I know you said you wanted to be loyal to that company, but if that pipe is designed for top end power, you'd be hurting yourself running them through the woods. You want something to start making power right off the bat, rather than have a pipe that really kicks in at 7-8,000 rpms. Make sense? Another thing you might want to look into is a shorter swingarm. That'll help you out with traction and put more of the power to the ground Hope this helps a little bit!
  21. Oh, OK...the way the post was titled I thought you were saying they were stock jugs, LOL Still damn good numbers though, congrats!!!
  22. Welcome to the forums! Are you wanting advice on finding a banshee or building an XC bike? Do you live in Memphis?
  23. Wow! and that's with a stock stroke, stock port 350?
  24. Those are some great times! What length of track are you running it on?
  25. Might wanna check your inventory NYUK... Jeff, just have a case of heineken waiting on the porch for him, I took care of the rest.
