what about a set of maxxis sur tracs?

I've got a question about the little coolant nipple on the back of the head. What is it's purpose, is it a vent line that recirculates it back into the radiator or what? the reason i ask is because were putting a banshee motor in a 250r and the 250r radiator doesn't have a nipple on the radiator for this hose. ? Can the nipple just be blocked off or tied into the other head hose? or would a nipple need to be put in the radiator. any help with this little bridge would be greatly appreciated because its got me stumped.

we've rode at LBL alot and at royal twice. both are good spots, just kinda pricy for 1 day of riding, but the trails are good. they are having an xc race at royal on may 9 and 10th. we plan on racing if we're not broke down or nothin at that time.

we've been there twice (fall of 07 and 08') and loved it both times. how far of a drive is it for ya? cause it took as about 4 hours just to get there and both times we rented a place to stay the night at and rode 2 days. theres more miles of trails at that place then you could probably ride in 3 days. make sure you got atleast 20 inch rear tires and skidplates! cause that place has lots of rocks. heres some videos from both trips there..

how much did you pay for that trailer? also, beware of scammers on craigslist. although a 5 year old could spot one, just watch out for distant buyers wanting to have a "shipper" pick up your "item" lol. good luck selling it though.

hell yea man we deffinatly need to go ridin. we rode at royal atv a couple years ago, pretty nice little place but not real big or anything. I think they have a harescramble race there in the spring sometime, me and my brothers are plannin on racing in it. yea we just stopped by when we seen that somebody was there, usually a big diesel truck or something in the driveway since thats what most of those ballance boys drive. just knocked on the door and hollared anybody there?, lol. ive never really met bill myself or talked with him or anything but im sure hes a pretty laid back guy.

do you know where the ballance motorcross track is? located on 31W about 7 0r 8 miles from Bowling green. His new shop is located right there beside the road that goes to his track. I live about 10 mins from the track. Bill was there that day we stopped by and loaded up the tires, but he was busy on the phone and rebuilding a shock or something. one of his mechanics was there and picked us out some tires. they had like 15 yfz's in there, and like 5 of em were brand new 09 yfz's. probably never even been started or broke in. he had a big tire rack with all kinds of tires and in one of the storage rooms he had a huge freakin pile of used tires with some small holes and stuff. the mechanic guy that helped us was pretty cool, he said come back any time we needed more tires by the truck load. I guess theyd like to get rid of all the used ones cause they just take up space. and most of the free ones just have like one or two small holes, just put in a plug or two and your all set, or at the most just run a tube. yea the idea did come to mind of selling some tires on ebay for like 5 or 10 bucks a tire, and just tell em to plug the holes or run a tube in em. but I guess shipping would would get kinda pricy. where in KY are u at? hell even for 20 bucks a tire, it would be worth a hour or so drive to get some cheap tires.

we stopped by bill balance's race shop the other day to get a truck load of free used tires with holes, and a few good used ones with just one race on em and no holes for 20$ a piece, and on his tire rack there was some new kind of mean lookin tire that ive never seen before. I got to lookin at it and it said "ballance" and "razar" on the side wall and the tread design was very very similar to the holeshot gncc tire. the knobs were about the same size, if not bigger, with the big "X" style knob like on the regular razar tires. one of his mechanics was there and he said it was a new promo tire that they were testing and stuff, but didnt say anything about if or when they would be coming out.

they had something exactly like that incident on mythbusters :biggrin:

almost all of the frames on ebay are under 80 dollars for shipping, but i won't be needing a frame now, i used my cousin's body shop and along with some chains and a ratchet winch i pulled it straight again. Thanks for the replies tho.

I'm really just lookin for a unpowerdcoated frame, cause i'm gonna hack shit off of it and guesset it. then powder coat the color i want it. I didn't know it was 125 for shipping? on ebay its 55 for shipping

Well long story short i flipped the banshee down a hill and tweeked the subframe quite abit. So is there anybody that has a cheap frame in the 100-200 price range?

same here..... I think the best looking new generation quad is stil the yfz450, first one of the bunch. but that ktm looks like it has bite behind the bark. and word has it that ktm is gonna dominate the gncc series this year.

the 450 front brakes are a great mod. if you do it right and put the 450 master cylinder on too along with stainless lines you'll have you're be able to brake with one finger.
