1. doubt it,sounds like your carbs aint in sync maybe.
2. never seen sleds on asphalt but we have a place here that runs 500ft grass drags for sleds and quads through out the summer.they are pretty impressive running the grass track.they hit 95-100 mph in 500 ft grass.i've ran there with the shee a few times and draggin on grass is different.the run the drags all winter too but only the sleds show up when its cold and snowing.
3. i ran pj's for a couple years at the drags and i found them easy to tune.alot of people don't like pj's but they are a real good carb in my oppinion .especially for dragging and they are also a great carb when converted to alky.however once switched to alky they can't be switched back.the only drawback to pj's is you set the idle by turning the choke knob and sometimes they don't want to idle to well.
4. ok butch ,be great if you,s could make it to quadfest.talk to you on the 8th.
5. great statement PUSH.let them and the ones that rip people off and advertise drugs and other things that society don't won't or need to continue to use this site is b.s.
6. p.m. sent they do not come with throttle cable.
7. check the pressure plate and clutch boss for excess wear also.alot of people jump right into changing fibers and steels and don't even give a thought to the pressure plate and steels.i myself installed a new clutch kit once only to find out when i got it back together my pressure plate was the problem to begin with .it was worn down far enough that even with new fibers and steels it slipped like crazy after i got it together.check the clutch basket also for excess wear .
8. go with the noss head you'll be quite satisfied.with the noss if you decide later you wanna make changes you can change the domes.with the noss i feel you get better cooling and besides david's a site sponsor and i'm pretty sure he gives hq members a bit of a discount .great guy to talk and deal with also.

12. hmmm,i tried that at the drags a couple years ago and the nuts still came loose and with the tape there you won't reaaly notice till you remove tape or its to late.i think a couple drops of locktite is much better and worth while. just my .02 worth
13. welcome back,again.lol
14. I have dealt with vwpartsman and i must say that he was very honest and a great guy to deal with. When he says he sent the polished Lectrons to a guy on here ,he did because that guy was me.Not only did he trust me by sending the carbs without any money or even knowing me,he also sent a set of billet trinity intakes with them for me too also look at before i bought them.He also shipped the lectrons and the intakes by priority mail and ate the shipping costs. In my oppinion he's a great person to deal with will stand behind his word.if he says just return it if your not satisfied ,then just return it.Hes one of the best guys i ever dealt with.Iwould not hesitate to deal with him again.
15. ttt i'll take paypal or money orders
16. ]pic1]pic2]pic3pics the filters shown are not the ones.i have another set in a little better condition but they are a little shorter.
17. i have a set of 35mm airstrykers for gas that work great but i need bigger carbs.i'd like to trade for a set of 39 pwk's or i'll sell the airstrykers for $275.00. i also a set of k&n's to fit these carbs.the filters are used but in good condition.
18. changed my mind ,they're not sold .still for sale.
19. i bought a swingarm from reded and he was a great guy to deal with.he shipped it out fast.no long wait .i bought it without seeing it and his discription of it was very accurate.i'm well pleased with it and his honesty.
20. an overide tranny is a tranny that has been modded so you hold throttle wide open and shift without using the clutch.it is a strictly drag racing tranny.if you back out of throttle without squeezing clutch you will cause damage to the shift forks at the minimum. the duneable overide is a version of the overide that is a tranny you can shift with no clutch at wide open throttle and still ride the dunes and such like an ordinary tranny .you can backload the tranny and not bend the forks.the duneable is a relatively new concept.
21. when running a lockup you can run the cheapest clutches out there and i doubt whether they will slip.the lock up and cover is gonna set you back at least 350.00 .when and if you install a clutch lockup also install a clutch bearing kit to prevent the clutch adjuster ,ball and pushrod from welding themselves together and possibly welding the rod to the inside of the tranny shaft.your looking at probally at least 40.00 for the bearing kit but well worth it.even if you don't install a clutch lockup and running a stock motor the bearing kit is great to have.
22. i don't think i would of posted that reply even though it was meant as a joke.with my luck there would be some idiot read it and try.they would end up with a flatfile through they're hand or they're hand ripped off or blinded by flying debris or something and sue me for all i have.lol
23. i agree ,don't bore your cylinders unless they need bored.boring does nothing as far as any power gain.also a 370 is 66mm bore with a 54mm or stock stroke.i have seen stock cylinders bored to .100 over but it is not reccomened .the more you bore ,the thinner your cylinder walls get which increases the motor tempreture when its running.
