  1. me too bangin along in 5th snap the clutch and throttle yank the bars and stomp my ass on the back seat, comes up so fast it scares ya, but im pushin 55 not 75.......
  2. awwww a voice of reason........
  3. all these guys with stock bikes can do it, i should have never modded my bike, i think some of us just add 20-30mph to our speed, it looks nicer in a post that way......theres alot of guys on here with stock gearing and pipes doing a 100mph........hell titheads banshee does 120.....so i guess pullin wheelies on bikes that are maxed out at 75 isnt so far fetched after all.....like one of the guys posted i guess its the wind that lifts your bike......i dont think anyones reading the 75mph part..well i take that back nyuk, reas, meat Stan and lefty did......
  4. steve hengeveld won the 1000..first overall....i dont now who placed in the quad division though..... http://www.hengeracing.com/html/results03.html
  5. i know what you mean about staying planted they work great are you running a rear ssd also?........i just yank my bars up and stick it and i come right up providing im hooking up...i can sustain my front end to about 11 oclock like nyuk mentioned as long as im on the gas into 5th geared, how i am....but cant balance one out to 75mph, soon as i start coming down, my power wont bring it back up at that speed......maybe i got a couple lemons from yamaha.....or passion and trinity build shitty motors.....
  6. now whe are gettin carried away......this kids claim was he's poping wheelie's at 75mph.....shit i can ride one balanced through third to about 50 mph......but riding along at 75mph and then getting it up and balanceing a wheelie is a whole nother thing.....when my bike was stock i could crack one through 6th but not sustain it to 75 hell stock it wouldnt even go 75mph......
  7. Jose i found one on ebay that had a temp gage in it for 75 bucks work great and looks cool......
  8. either stan.....i have a headache too look what i started.....i give up, all i know is i put a 17 tooth up front and when im doing 90 in 6th i just pull up ever so gently on my bars and stand my bike up at a 45 degree angle and wave to the crowd as i pass by......
  9. real good numbers Red, thats got to feel nice when you pin it.....
  10. thats just what my point is Sand, ThankYou.....
  11. ive seen alot of guys do those too NYUK, but if the guy ran out of power his front end would come down correct? so hes basicly using his acceleration to keep his front end up, thats totally resonable we all do that all the time, but not at 75mph..... but i have a feeling very few of us are wound out in 6th balancing our banshees on the back wheels, unless of course maybe your Tithead and your bike does 140mph in which case hell 75mph would be about 3500rpm's
  12. lets see if i understand the art of "riding wheelies" someone correct me if im wrong......1. you bring the front end up..2. you balance the bike..3. you blip the throttle as needed to maintain your balance or accelerate............so now you have a guy with a wound out power band balanceing his bike at 75mph.......if someone said 50mph or maybe even 60mph......or to have your bike wound out in 6th, and just what pull up on the front end and rise to about 45 degrees, with some bolt on stuff.......i can get 25-30 degree power wheelies all day long ..but to ride one through the gears, balanced and topped out to boot is another story
  13. heheheheheheheheh..........ive seen plenty with there front ends coming up in drags at high end.....but yet to see a guy stand it up and balance a wheelie and accelerate to 75mph on a banshee...... street bikes all day long, maybe even a bad Cr or 2, but never a banshee....
  14. at 75 mph?...............this is a wheelie right........i can get my bike a foot off the ground..we are talkin standing it up?.......id love to see that video
  15. some clutch in mid 6th Jethro?.......i guess we need to define a wheelie.....
  16. shhhhhh.... stans going over to the Hotel to potty.......
  17. I have a 80+ horsepower motor and a -2 swing arm and i cant crack a wheelie at 75mph on pavement is that bullshit or what.......sheeeesh http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=19279
  18. in fact if anyone wants to post a video of someone doing a wheelie from 1st to 6th over 70mph with some audio so i can hear his shifts...i gotta 1000 dollar casheirs check with your name on it.....
  19. well hell shit, id love to see someone crack a wheelie in 1st and hold it out till the top of 6th, i want that dude to autograph my bible......
  20. any of the Ladies looking for a place to stay can come on back to my place it's not far from Dumont, i guess that includes you Stan.........
  21. seeing as how we will be in 100 thousand acres of kitty litter if Stan needs to go poop, he outta ride off and do a deuce.....kick a little sand over it though stan........
  22. Blue Duecea wheelie at 75 mph on a shee.......dude what you got done to your bike..im pushin 90 horse power and cant wheelie past third.......... Blue 2002-Passion Racing Engines 12 Port +4-370, Long Rod-Pro Circuits-PJ-34's, Delta 2's- Noss Head Custom Domes-Barnett Clutch-Pro Flow Impellor-+4 Timing Plate- 2+1 Arms -2 Swingarm-Elka Full Race SSD's-Scotts Stabilizer-Polished Sloted ITP's-Inline Cooler w/Temp Gage-15/40 Gearing well anyone of you that can wheelie at 75 mph is sooooooo full of shit........if you were geared low enough to wheelie in 5 th your top speed would be around 55mph in 6th pinned......and your motor would have to have the livin shit built out of it......and of course we are not talkin about yankin your bars so your front end comes of the ground a inch or two cause that aint a wheelie
  23. or just go ahead and bail off, the bikes getting banged up anyhow, no sense having it hit you....nothing worse than eating it and having 400 pounds slam into you.....
  24. i have LSR a-arms, steering stem and axle on my desert bike but i run light softer jd perfomance arms stock stem and axle on my mx bike a friend asked me why i dont at least put my lsr axle on my mx bike....i told him just what Walt said, besides i like the stock width with offset rims, when i do eat it (and i will) i dont want to tweak my frame (again, i learned the hard way once) he kinda shrugged it off, well he's out long jumping and bailed off, calls me up and ask's to borrow my sawsall, i bring it over and his bikes sitting there with a perfectly straight LSR axle and a twisted swing arm that we had to sawsall from where it mounts to the frame and sheered his shock off where it mounts to the swing arm, he replaced the swing arm and shock but couldnt get it to mount up cause his frame is slightly tweaked..now he's saving for a roller...i wanted to say i told you so, but didnt have the heart to.......You lose a little bling, but wont bend your Swing......
  25. im running a 15/40.....most guys riding in dirt like the little taller 15, it makes your bike pull a little nicer than a 14.....i always try to find the spot in between lift and accelration, i want my gears stretched but i also want my front end to rise for ruts and whoops and such also your mods have a lot to do with how well your bike pulls those taller gears, the shorter swing arm helps get what ever you have to the ground, as well as handling better it also changes the weight distribution over the chassis, ive never ridden a shee with a -2 swing arm and stock a-arms though, it really works well when you have a aftermarket aarm thats forward an inch or two
