  3. i know the place i get mine has 110 and 120 for bikes and a differnt pump for planes i think there might be a diff......

  5. race gas is unleaded just like the stuff at the pump......the octane is higher, and there are no govermental additives......ive never heard of better fuel hurting a motor, does it screw your car up when you run 93 or 91 over the cheap 87?.......

  9. dude what kinda shocks are we talikng about here..i think your thinking of forks..a shaft seal is a might different from blowing the valves out......do you think theres a pissy little oring on a shaft holding back the 40 psi thats in your rezzie......
  10. dude you havent seen a skock shaft pit from running a cover, thats why you run covers so they wont, leading to a blown seal, the shaft seal is to keep dirt out ........and you havnt seen a a-arm bend from a blown shaft seal.......thats just ridiculous
  11. um gee let me guess your a-arms bend right mmmm from what? some downward force from a collapsed shock?......what did the guys spring somehow come out of the shock body, jesus dude blow that smoke up some one elses ass i aint buyin it....oh and just another tip from the shock guru the seal around that shaft has absolutly NOTHING to do with the valving.......
  12. actually i do run behind everyone..and your shock adjustments are outside the covers another clue to me that you dont have an investment in aftermarket shocks...just between me and you when i had the stockers i didnt run covers either......
  13. mm im not sure XT seems to be about 30 percent more fuel consumption.....dont know miles wise..........for long long ass rides i like the idea raxen had.....or get one of those big ass desert tanks.....that would do it for sure if you make it now on a tank of fuel the extra 2 gallons would for sure get you there

  19. oh and real shocks arnt painted they are coated.....and when your chasing some kid on a raped ape around a track and he's peppering your bike with sand and rocks, everything but the shafts on your shocks gets sand blasted, they are made out of space age bullshit that wont pit
  20. OH and i dont know if Elka sells there shock covers seprately but if youve seen my bike you'll notice 2 covers, one each on my shocks, look close it says ELKA on both of them you idiot.....
  21. useless accessorys like what?......if youve seen my bike whats useless? well maybe my 500 dollar stearing stabilizer was a bit over board, but does come in real fuckin handy when your gonna travel 90 miles across the desert in 2 hours...... thats a laff...i guess when Eric at Elka gave me a set of the thickest best, shock covers ive ever seen to protect the shafts on my 22 hun worth of shocks he was full of shit, since he knows i race in the driest worst shittiest terrain in th USA...i dont give a flying fucck if you think they look like shit or not, abrasive to the spring my ass, "the shaft is so hard dirt wont hurt it"...haahahaha, do you know what silt is moron?..its the fine grit you cant even see, it sneaks its way into your seals...go a head and post us all a pic of your bike, i wanna see this!!..and also if your the shock expert tell me the theory behind a double rate shock and a tripple rate and dont forget to include the spring rate formula, if for some reason you cant come up with it let me know and ill post it for you, you might learn something....peace dawg

  24. well octane shouldnt deterimine your ratio....20:1 is way to rich if its broke in.....id go to amsoil or castor more like 40:1.....or keep using the yamaha stuff, the race gas has more octane it is cleaner fuel, ive had many stock bikes that ive run race fuel in, it burns cleaner, here in cali we get shitty pump fuel with to many additives...i run 120 octane........the dealer probally went 24:1, but if youve run a tank like that you can lean it out
