  1. dont some carbs the choke pull turns counter clockwise to raise the idle?.......
  2. you should post this in the product review section........i myself stay away from guys and anything to do with "head"...........but i know boonie wouldnt ball ya or steer you wrong.........
  3. those are the same guys that puss out when they see a 40 footer......i had a bud just "adjust his chain" the we hit a long jump , his bike compressed chain snapped completly thrashed his case and ripped his calf open..when your bikes squatting on the gas you need a little bit of slack, when it bottoms youd better goddamm well have some or your chains toast.....
  4. i told him he could get it but ill only pay half, summer will be here soon and he'll have five acres of weeds to keep him busy........
  5. 14/41 is stock gearing.........take a pair of tie downs from your grab bar to your axle and compress the rear end, then adjust the chain by loosening the two carrier bolts, loosen the 12mm lock nuts on the adjusters and evenly adjust the chain using the 10mm nuts so you have 1/2" to 5/8's of slack, tighten it all back up release the tie downs and you should be good to go, the reason you adjust it compressed is when your jumping or riding and the shock compresses you dont snap your chain.......
  6. depends on how the preload is set, you could have a soft spring with little to no preload in which case the weight of the bike would drop it 2-3 inches, then when you mount up could drop another inch or two, leaving you with very little travel and a fairly shitty acting shock......a good shock setup, the body is full of spring, not a nut cranking a light spring down 4 inches......sounds like you might want to come up a gage in springs.......fairly cheap and any good shock tech can do it for you.........
  7. do a search and you'll find the info.......mr matt will cut it for 100 bucks
  8. ill wait till i see the whites of her eyes, then proclaim "drop the sammies, and reach for the sky"....... LMAO!! ..... We was always walking around real quiet....lookin for some guy named charlie . Mike LMFAO....good one Mike
  9. thats the way i feel..... on a earlier shee i had ported gages, i kinda like the deltas now, they are pricey but i feel snappier on the bottom......some guys swear by the tdr's or boyssens, but ive yet to find a guy who tossed his v-force, to run the others......
  10. ill wait till i see the whites of her eyes, then proclaim "drop the sammies, and reach for the sky".......
  11. he has bb guns and puts the dogs in when he's in the yard shooting cans, he digs his dogs so wont shoot them but, the ol man across the street has complained about his trash can getting pinged.....
  12. it does tug on them chains pretty hard, and i like the light oem's........they dont last to long but coast killer
  13. did you guys check out the site? it is a work of art...400 bucks too ....but will blaze out 144 rubber bands as fast as you can crank the handle........and im sure id become a target at some point........maybe grab 2, cause he will break his quick.....then pops can blast him
  14. really its cool cause when i load my axle into my fenders i got 5/8's of slack.....just right for a nice looong jump
  15. another view
  16. i told him we'd ask the fellas on the hq, i wish they made this stuff when i was a kid..... http://www.backyardartillery.com/machinegun/
  17. the otherside
  18. New Noss..........
  19. Old School Noss......
  20. i had custom ohlins all the way around and i sold them and got the elka's.......
  21. id say your gearing kinda depends on how it pulls off the bottom..maybe try a 15/41 the smoother your power band the better if you do run 22's lower your back end
  22. cool ben your gonna have fun.....the 18's should be at least 20's......gear as tall as you can....a 16 if you can pull one in 5th, 6th will be overdrive if you can use it on any freeway type straights, have you gotten to do a pratice lap? if not be damm careful shit happens fast at high speed on a course you dont know, relax your preload slightly so youll be more comftable and yeah dont try to stretch your fuel, just try and relax and run your own race 20 miles doesnt seem far but hauling ass will wear you out quick if your not relaxed let alone 46.......and focus on whats 50 yards out as well as the line your in surprises at 60 mph and higher come quick so you need to read the terrain in time to react for safetys sake........have fun bennie and good luck......
  23. if your going that route look into the full race elkas
  24. Yeah it's alright....We usually ride just outside of town, up by the Air Force base. A little place called Apex (some call it Nellis dunes, after the AF base). It's not all that big in the first place, then you add the 4X4's and people that go horse back riding out there...Kinda makes for close quarters...but it's a place to ride..... Anybody ever mention how addicting this site is??!!!!! yeah thats out by the lake huh? a little north east of the strip.....i think youll like the terrain out here a little better.........
  25. thats it!.....sheeesh and i thought i was weird for having my dog lick ranch dressing off my schlong....
