  3. it wants you to get an aftermarket head or mill your stock one for more compression.i prefer the aftermarket head you can change the domes for different compressions and elevations.....noss machine makes a nice one

  5. we are just funnin with you.. for real, since all we know about your bike is nothing, my bike will cover roughly 260 feet in that time pinned, stretched every gear before shifts, 16/41 gearing top of fifth around 75 mph give or take 5mph, and next stupid question you ask get ready for some more dumbass remarks.....
  6. id skip the rezzie unless racing, elka's run cool because they over valve, call or email eric at elka tell him you found a dealer who has several complaints and dont trust doing business with him after eric is done being pissed someones jerking elka customers around he will offer you a better price on them and you will be talking to the guy who's going to set them up for you, i have front and rear full race ssd's and saved 400 bucks by going straight to elka, the less expensive elkas are not a cheap shock and to run elka triple's you need a gullwing a-arm that will take the longer shock body so right away the ad you found is misleading to say the least, also tell eric that or i will shoot him the link for you and lastly make godamm sure you ask him for a free tee shirt with your order......

  10. i put mine on the lower hose for the bling affect, looks kool when you look between my pipes and see a nice fat cooler with a shock proof temp gage sitting in it, ill take a pic this week and post it, i was going to mock it up in a radiator hose then run it upper and then lower for a while and compare the 2 readings and just do the math between the 2 so i could still have my bling, yet get accurite temp readings......

Amen Rat, my wife loves my ugly ass if i told her i was hawkin the bikes for cash, shed go get a job, i fucked up and got married young(well not really it worked out for me) but i remeber i was going to sell my drumset to pay our bills(we were fresh out of sleeping in our car) and my band was inches from a record deal and my girl (bless her heart) at 18 years old went and shoveled shit out of the elderlys diapers in a convalesant hospital so ol duece could keep his kit and pursue his dreams and i reward her for that every day of my life, the shear mention of Jose selling his passion should have her in tears, and i wouldnt marry otherwise, forever is a long fuckin time, i hope it works out for him.......

  16. what kind of port did you do?........if you dont have the pipe yet maybe a lower end pipe? paul turner maybe....what kind of gearing? my guess would be depending on your port high 50's or low 60's on the HP, just a guess though......
  17. i dont recall saying anything about pistons, maybe chase did my point was elevation changes compression plane and simple and thats not my opinion but a fact and yes id agree if your under 160psi pump fuel is cool, as far as cast pistons over forged goes im uninformed in that area and would probally tend to just listen and learn in that thread.... and if you state things like elevation has nothing to do with compression in every one of your posts, then chances are someone will be out to "prove you wrong" have you ever thought that maybe you are wrong? every time you post if they are statements like "2+2=5" you can bet your ass someone on this forum will call you on it, and if either Chase or myself were out to pick on you, you would most certainly know it, ive yet to hear Chase piss in the wind on a thread most time his comments are right on check, i would tend to follow him on the piston tip.... so again sorry for the misunderstanding.......

  19. your compresion changes with altitude.......if you were at 165psi at 5000 feet running pump fuel and droped to sealevel on pump fuel youd be around 185 and smoke your bike.....but you should allways do a comprssion check..elevation has everything to do with compression.....
  20. i think it would depend on your elevation at 4000 feet you could run pump at - 500 youd blow it sky high.......19 is iffy 18 and youd for sure need at least 50/50...change them out for 20's and run pump everywhere or go 18 and run race fuel
  21. in my opinion i would just go with dan at patriot, dan does an exeptional job with banshee juggs, i dont think porting is duncans forte, as it is dans or ted at mission yamaha.....
  22. welcome to the HQ Shee, what kind of riding are you doing on this bike? in my opinion id go for chassis and suspension first, unless you can pinn it and hang on just fine now in the terrain your in, if so start on the motor or go a little each way as your budget allows.......

    you will most definatly bennefit from a 15, if i was straight lining her id try a 16 too you might just pull it fine, blast outta the gate in first and stretch it out and youd be amazed how hard you'll pull
