i had shane rebuild, rework, or whatever he does on my stock rear shock. at the dunes, with my new +2 arms the bike was like caddy driving down the road. unreal how much of a differences both made. not saying one was better but the 2 put together made for a sweet ride. havent rode a bike with elka or whatever but worth redoing your stock one. imo shane is a good guy, fun to shoot the shit with. anyways.

word of advice if you dont have your spot reserved your basically fucked. there are so many squaters(spelling) taking up spots this weekend on the state owned places. the spots that the oasis owns are most likely taken. its a total nightmare. never seen the likes before. 40 bikes in the whole dunes. and camping by the oasis was elbows to assholes. but by the gate adn what the state has bare with a tent saving their spots. hear 1 guy has saved his spot for almost a month. spent 2000. wtf ever. just giving you guys the heads up.

who ever told you that doesnt know much you have to clean the sniffer but it shouldnt gum it up.

those are pj 34s not pwk you adjust the idle by turning the choke knob. probably has a ceg needle in it. my advice is to get a different one. call sudco.com and get a cek, get some pilots 50-58 and couple mains while ordering. 140 -150. you need 20 dollar min order but they have everything you need. i couldnt get teh bike to run very well with ceg needle, for my setup dek worked good. your elevations adn mods cek would be pretty good for yours. pm me if you need any other help with them

i ran 60 pilots, 5th clip on dek, 145 mains, +4 timing should be good you might start at a 150 mains and go from there. best of luck

ok i bought this caliper for a guy on hq. the rubber bushing were trashed. so icall the dealership up. they say there is only 1 bushing for them. i argue get nowhere so im thinking they might be the same parts. i get 2 of the bushings. i think they go on the hex allen bolt with the grooves. but how do you get them in there, and get the bolt thru the bushings, and get the bolt in the caliper. ive tried almost everything i can think of. and they little stud type bolt there is a bushing for that. dealership doesnt have a clue. anyone know where to get this crap adn how to put them together. im about to get the welder out and make it solid!!!!

a single carb your going to need fuel to feed both cylinders adn you leaned it out. i would put a 50- 55 pilot in and depending on your needle raise it up and i think guys with a single run like a 170-190 main.
