your from ark city right. who you getting to do your bike. that guy in winfield or mulvane or someone else?? bigred can tell you about porting pistons. it will basically weaken it and make it easier to blow up.

pull the head off adn look at the domes. should be like 2mm cut into it for the pistons. you could post a pic of it and would be pretty easy to tell as far as porting. you need a degree wheel toget the most accurate reading. or you can measure the exh port. one guys dune port might not be anothers SO. HOPE THis helps

dyna controls your timing so put your plate at zero unless your wanting more than the dyna puts in. lot of opinions of them, asked several builders about them was told stock cdi and plate were they way to go. then some say dyna is the shizzle. who knows. but if your going to run it and havent boughten a adj plate i wouldnt worry about it unless your wanting some fancy timing specs.

search on this and most likey no itsnot the most favorable powerband for trails unless they are dune trails that are more wideopen plenty of posts on this subject.

how much slop are you talking about. you can shim the pivot tube so it doesnt move if needed
