  1. the cut away goes towards the air filters not the intake like cam suggested. when you put the tors kit on did you file the boss on the carb down so when you screw the screw down it goes inside the bore more. if you didnt remove the nut off the idle screw and if you get it to idle without the nut you need to file or grind the boss down more. 300 main is ideal and has no effect on your idle. if any thing you could go back to stock pilot of a 25. but your motor might like lil more pilot. also make sure you have the choke tube connected between the carbs.
  2. after you get it running for say 30 sec or whatever take choke off and increase idle by turning the screws in. after it runs by itself use a sync tool to get them the same flow. and adjust the idle to correct speed and same flow. basically once you get the flow the same mark the idle knobs with a marker and turn them the same amt to get desired idle.
  3. got to tune on the carbs but will say the pipes are not a quiet pipe.
  4. wow possibly the dumbest post ive read in a long time. each pipe isnt going to be custom built. they offer pipe setup for cubs right now. BUT IF YOU have some custom motor with special spec and call gary he can work the software and maybe tweak the pipes before welding them to BETTER WORK with your motor. they do offer custom pipes just saying not every pipe will be completely custom that would be a major pain. as far as heads and tails difference wtf you talking about. first off the pics ive seen the welds look like actual welds not chicken shit blobs like some pipes. the pipes will clear pingels well shit they will even clear the head unlike some pipes. and looking at the dyno sheets 10hp isnt a few hp and would be quite a difference when your looking for all out power. as for the wait dont think they have a back order so ifyou want a set you can get a set. its called building up inventory. one more thing do you know how long most pepole wait for a good quaility port job most builders it takes a bit of time. but 99.9999999999999999999999999999999% love the power they get from it so they deal with the wait. so i dont see if a person had to wait a bit for something that really improved performance would really be life or death issue.

    probably a long shot but does anyone have a set of these needles or ones close to it that fit pwk 28s. think some genius put toomey needles in these carbs im working on for a guy. so help if one can please lol

  10. see here where you need to get out and see the grand and glorious country of ours. att dont have that many towers in ks and if they do they are too spread out. att in cali might be fine but venture out and drive thru the country and see how you like their service.
  11. are you really that fucking impatient you cant make a call and look at an email at the same time. this always blows my mind when people brag on fucking att and gsm towers. you can surf the web and talk at the same time can you really. first thing first your brain will go in over load doing 2 things at once. if this is such an issue supposely with lte 4g vzw others i think they will split the band where go forbid you could surf and talk at the same time. and att sucks a bag of dicks. got a friend who broke down in 5 deg weather she tried to call or text some one for help guess what that grand and glourous gsm shit new tech didnt work and she almost got hypotherma (sp). finally a passing car stopped and helped her. theres a reason cdma is the most popular service in the us. it works and has better range. i dont even have verizon roam off them but fuck att fuck gsm.fuck surfing and talking at the same time if thats your selling point for a company i give up. att 3g coverage is shit. but you can still surf and talk yuck. ps if you wanting a verizon iphone wait till like summer when apple comes out with the new model like they do each yr.

  14. think 10 degs is 2mm down from tdc use a dial indicator to find tdc clear it and rotate it down 2mm on the compression stroke should be good to go.
  15. andy any chance you have a 421 cub dyno sheet with a similar setup. gas carbs, pipes, etc and one thats almost similar to this new serval setup. just wanted to see how much each cylinder has power and broadness compared to each other. to the guy worried about cat names just think soon he might use dog names dauchsand will be the one to get.

    i was told 1.8mm from tdc is +7 degs and 2mm is like 10degs banshee332 can tell you in thousands if you prefer that.
  17. tighten the choke knob down all the way then back them off 9 full turns. start the bike it should idle probably high idle sync the carbs at idle with your thinger mark the position of the knobs and then adjust equally up or down till it idles decent. then open your air screw up to like 1.5 turns rev it up if it is slow to rev up adjust more or less air screw till it revs up quickly if you get more then 3 turns on your air screw put a smaller pilot in if you close it put a large pilot in. ive had good luck with dek needles on my pjs when i had them. if you were close to ks i would have then dialed in about an hour there good carbs just may cant spend the time to adjust them. but have to have the right needle to start with.
