each bike is different but it like it so i think he is happy. its a cel needle and lot of people run that so again.

talked to him today he put a 58 pilot in and it seemed to help the motor run better and is goign to gear it down. didnt ever think a cub would like a pilot that big but it does. put a 52 in and could only open the air screws 1/2 turn it liked them to be closed. bigger pilot seems to be helping with throttle response.

sounds like your wanting carbs to run both gas and alky then some lectrons would probably work well just remember all the jetting settings for each one.

ive ran both lectrons are nice will say but they are $$$$ if your happy with the pwk i would stick with them. the problem with lectrons is im always adjust the needle for cold to warm conditions to keep the idle right its a simple twist and 3 screws but still. they are sweet carbs once setup though. pwk or pj are just as much work to adjust so its a caught 22.

run the bitch in 6th gear for couple hundred feet and pull the plugs. do a chop but a 162 seems big for a non ported motor with bolt ons. i ran a 160 with my cub.

what jetting are you running for that motor. cam motor should run pretty well. if you take off in first im sure you grab neutral but does it take off better.???? also what timing are yourunning.

my guess not he buys the ones from cascade so he can get his decibals down to ride in the oregon dunes.
