  1. You can go .100 over. Why do you want to bore it? You should only go as far over as needed. It doesnt produce noticable power gains.
  2. Keep the stockers or get the 30mm OKO for les than half the price of a 2 into 1 setup. Ive had a few buddys with a 2 into 1 and nono of them ran that great. They had alot of trouble getting them tuned in. Also DO NOT buy a boost botle. They are a gimick.
  3. Vitos in Oxford, MI offers welding and truing. Ivebought two welded and trued hotrod cranks from them. Never had any problems with either. Well atleast that wasnt my fault...lol I think its only like 75 bux
  4. Cool man. Sounds like youre headed in the right directon then. Sorry. Hard to get it sometimes from text. Good clutch, tires, swingarm etc would be good too. If these cubs are as bad as they claim. LOL. Ive been thinking of going Cub myself just not sure yet if thats really what i want. I dont want a drag only bike. My setup is pushing it for trail riding. Anymore its gonna be tough to trail it. Its a good combo of a dangerous trail bike and a good dragger. Thats why i suggested resleeving and a good port job. A good ported 350 is one bad mother. It all comes down to prefference and what you are gonna do with it. For your situation Id definitely run the .100's untill you get the jack for the cubs. In my experience they just dont last long punched out that far. Good luck. Let us know when you get the cubs!
  5. Damn. This is a wierd one. It almost has to be the welds. I was trying to remember how it was assembled and didnt remember the drive making contact but it does appear to contact the inner race. Judging by the pics. You say the bearing doesnt spin free?
  6. Yeah thats the seal I mean. The crank is cut and keyed so that the primary will only go on so far. It doesnt contact the seal much less the bearing. Youve got something assembled wrong. Do you have the seal in properly. Ridges go inside.
  7. Well youve definitely got something in there wrong. The primary will only thread on so far and thats not far enough to affect the bearing. Theres a seal between them. Is it in correctly?
  8. It takes alot more to running a cub than buying the jugs. Id get it sleeved but thats just my opinion because thats what i did. I had mine .100 over at one time. It didnt last very long and i had a pro-flow impeller and a Toomey radiator. Mine was out of round because of being bored so many times. Also the thin sleeve that is left can distort from the heat. It caused me to break a piston skirt. Got metal down in the crank so it cost me a crank as well.
  9. Some cooling mods arent gonna do that much for .100 over jugs. You have like a 1/16th or less cylinder wall left. Get them resleeved.
  10. Thats what I said. I knew he was reading that meter wrong.
  11. It should come with instructions. Id say no. Just my opinion.
  12. Definitely could be that. My thinking was it takes less fuel to start a hot bike so a cloged pilot or lean pilot can give the same symptom. Id clean the carbs and check the compression and see what happens. Boy youve got one for all occasions dont ya! Sweet line up of bikes. Im envious.
  13. You have to re-jet everything for the new pipes. What jest are you running now and what other mods do you have?
  14. Well I wanst trying to hurt your feelings or anything man. I guess I should have been more specific. My fault. Youve got one cylinder that has some porting done and one that doesnt. Even if its only a little its still going to run different and require different jetting. You have both carbs jetted the same. Im a litle confused on the mods and jetting. Youve been running those mods you listed with 240 mains? If so Id say thats way too lean. Id definitely throw those 310's in it. Youve blown up 3 engines in 4 months. Id say you have a mess on your hands. But not something that cant be fixed. You said you tried to match the stock jug to the ported jug as best you could so that will help. Id go fat on the jetting and work you way down. Keep a close eye on it. These engines are finicky.
  15. Sounds like a clogged pilot jet. Or the air screw settings are off. Turn the air screws all the way in and see if that helps any. If it does your pilots are clogged or too lean.
  16. Just measure the diameter. If its 64mm its stock. Its not hard.
  17. Youve got a big ass mess. Can you post some pics of the jugs intake and exhaust ports?
  18. DMC 916's! Dont ask again!
  19. Hope you get it figuered out. I still say its something simple. Somethings not wired right or that stator isnt putting out like it should.
  20. You mean you had one ported jug and one non-ported jug? Thats crazy. Id start higher than 310 if you are unsure. Id go 360-370 and work your way down. All it takes is a few runs with it being too lean to fuck it up. If money isnt a problem. Id send the jugs off to someone and have them ported properly then go from there.
  21. Tell me how you have it hard wired. Can you take some pics of the harness? I dont know what the voltage should be but this system works or it doesnt. Its a real simple system. If you arent getting any spark at the plug then something is wired wrong or the stator isnt making power. You've tried another CDI right? Thats what controls the discharge. We're gonna figure this thing out damnit!!
  22. Is there an echo in here? lol
  23. You should have all grounds run to a common wire and that wire grounded to the frame. I have a ground that is connected to my Ignition coil. That ground wire is connected to the frame. My Magneto and cdi are tied in to this same wire. If you dont have a wire connected to the frame then it wont all work.
  24. Sounds like the idle is set too high. You can adjust it with the little brass screws on top of the TORS boxes. How much does it rev up?
