  1. My son-in-law & his brother's Banshee's both for sale. Drag ported by Jeff @ F.A.S.T. If interested call Shane Hall (913) 731-7067 for price & information. 2001 1989
  2. Alrighty.. so i leave the other spark plug in correct? And then i put the other plug back in and test the other cylinder? Doesn't matter, you can leave one plug in and test the other side. Your going to do both jugs anyway, might as well take them both out for comp test, they are separate cyl's. Just makes it a little easier to kick over with them both out.
  3. Make sure your pilot jet is open on that left side, just takes a tiny speck of crud in it to clog. With 27.5's I wouldn't think you would have to have the mixture screws closed if that what you mean by "all the way in". Try opening them about 1 1/2 turns and see what that does after you know the pilots are clean & go from there. Hows the plugs look? Hope this helps. You'll get it!
  4. Nice...probably make him think again about mouth racing next time. Good job!
  5. I have a set of cut & uncut Knarleys. Drag race on dirt/grass with the cut set, play on trails with the other. Both work well for me. I haven't tried the Klaws but I'm sure they are good tires as well.
  6. Nice cut on your fenders. Looks good!
  7. Must be talking about the fenders?
  8. Hey Tyler, Not during the real cold but ran through a tank today, it was good to get back out. Friend on a new raptor was pretty surprized at my little 350 and a lot less of a two stroke slammer by the end of this afternoon. Other friend told him he had been "Knarley'd" I'll get some pics our next time out. We will have to get together for a ride this year.
  9. Kenda Knarlys Loco style! Hook-up like you've never done before.
  10. Age doesn't really matter, it's how you feel and doing what you enjoy. I was 50 last September. My son in-law got me interested in quads. Been riding motorcycles since 1960. Will until I can't throw a leg over one. Ride & drag race my Banshee with friends & family whenever, usually a couple times a week. Really enjoy drags at Waynoka, make a couple trips a year. BHQ has always been a site I enjoy and has good people. Still have all my own teeth.
  11. A relative of mine got a set of extended chrome double tube aftermarket J arms for his '89 shee a few years back from I think Jeff at F.A.S.T. Just a thought for your search.
  12. This post from awhile back has some pics of a tag on my Banshee. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...mp;#entry609670
  13. Welcome to BHQ! Glad you are enjoying your new shee. Check your clutch adjustment, maybe keep you from slipping quite as bad until your able to get it rebuilt. Sounds like a fun ride you have planned.
  14. Here's mine for now, got to change every now & then.
  15. There nice pipes, sure you will like them. Post us up a pic.
  16. I haven't been ridding quads too long. My son-in-law bought a Banshee in 2001 & got me interested. First was a '01 250EX. Totally abused it, held up good untill I landed in the pond. Next a '02 400ex, nice quad but just couldn't keep up with Banshee's Finally got my Banshee in '03, getting a little closer now. 2006 summer at Little Sahara on my '72 Suzuki TS90, got it brand new for 8th grade graduation.
  17. Elevation: 865 feet above sea level. Thank you for the reply's.
  18. I did a compression test on my Banshee this evening. Did not warm it up, held throttle wide open & kicked like mad until needle wouldn't go any higher. Guage read just below 150 psi in both cylinders. Is this about the result that should be expected? Jugs are stock w/ stock pistons, Noss head w/ 20cc domes. It was spring last time I checked it warmed up & had just a couple more psi higher. Banshee is a 2003 and runs great. Thanks & Merry Christmas BHQ!
  19. That got me. I never sprayed beer off the monitor before Tyler. LOL :yelrotflmao: Late 80's, we used to see allot of Banshee's on MX tracks, set up as best they could, they held their own. 250R's won majority of races I saw.
  20. Sounds like you had a good time, allot like my kids & myself riding together. Hey, we are about the same age with kids born about the same time. Isn't it great to find something that you & your grown kids enjoy doing together. I really enjoyed your post. Glen
  21. Have tried all the tires mentioned so far in this post on my Banshee for grass/dirt drag races. None come close to the hook out of the hole as with the cut Kenda Knarleys. They work well for me on trails & hills too. Tyler Clark deserves the credit for letting us know about what a difference these modded tires can make on a Banshee. In the picture of my Banshee below they are on backwards. They still hooked better than any I had tried before. Turn them around and hang on. I run a +4 swingarm with stock front sprocket / 44 rear. http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b83/Cann.../cutkendas2.jpg
  22. If the drag race is on dirt / grass, you cannot get a better hookup tire on a Banshee than Kenda Knarly's with every other row of knobs cut off. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...=Kenda+Knarleys
  23. We will be there Oct. 4th, leaving for home the 8th. 3 Banshee's, 1 black & 2 blues. Red Dodge dually w/red enclosed trailer. Probably in the south camp. Hope to see you there.
  24. Yes, where can you buy just the covers? I have trail techs, not Lazer's. Same size cover maybe fit both? I'm not sure. Want to protect my lights lens from rocks, sand ect. Thanks
