How much compression does it have ? What head &/or domes you running?

superman0440, Try kicking it over 3 or 4 times with the switch off, choke pulled out. Then turn your swich on, kick it over a few times. Mines acts that way sometimes, seems to work well for me.

superman0440, If your talking about a Banshee's transmission oil, I use about 1.8 qts. for a regular drain & change. I use Bel Ray gearsaver 80w.

I have a +4 on mine. I like it for the same type of riding you mention - except for wheelies. Mines not nearly as prone to raise the front end now. That's how I wanted it to behave. You extend much beyond stock and wheelies are not going to be something you can do as easily, at least for my shee.

Most of the "working on" Banshee's you read about here is deliberate, as in modifications to existing systems or adding on aftermarket parts. All intended for more performance from an "out of the box" pretty quick quad. I don't think you would have to do much at all, as far as working on a Banshee, other than routine maintenance, unless you wanted to modify it. Most people do it because they enjoy it and like the results gained. If you become a Banshee owner I'm sure you will soon know what I'm taking about.

Any suggestions for the quad for my wife? She doesn't want one where she has to use the manual clutch. 345623[/snapback] My wife has an 03' honda recon ES. It's a 250 with electric shifting. Just push a handlebar toggle button to up or down shift. Electric start, w/ reverse. They are very smooth, quite, low maint, go anywhere, stable little quad.

Your stock shock will work. I just put on a new +4 swinger and mine works good.

Stock swingarm /carrier & an aftermarket 4" aluminum extention for it For Sale. Bought a new swingarm from Mod Quad. Will sell them seperatly or together. The swingarm & carrier are off of an '03 Banshee & are in excellent condition. $100 plus ship . The aluminum 4" extention will eliminate the stock chain adjustmet. It uses thumb adjuster wheels & allen head screw lock downs.
