  1. some old posts on this: Boonman from 2004 "The flywheel gets chucked up in a lathe and turned down. 8 ounces of weight is removed from the the outer diameter of the wheel. 4.84" is the O.D. of the wheel after machining." BdBanshee from 2004 "I remove 8-9 ounces from the O.D. of the flywheel. Since all stock flywheels don't weigh the same, the amount varies, but the finished weight is the same. I built a fixture that the flywheel fits on, I do not clamp on the flywheel.
  2. Boonman on here did mine.. Probably 15 years ago!
  3. rain tomorrow, burn brush-pile day

  4. Best of luck to you my friend. Have fun & bring home another win.
  5. Flat track ATV / motorcycle races at Miami County fair grounds in Paola Kansas. Anybody have any more info? Used to be in August.
  6. Try first kicking it a few times with the switch off & choke on. Then switch it on and kick it. Works for mine cold.
  7. Not sure why I have to log in each time on here. After I do log in, board goes back to visitor status when I click "view new posts" I'm using same user name & password I have for years, clicking the "remember me" box when logging in. Also have cleared & set to allow cookies from sites I visit. Probably something easy to fix with my settings, any ideas how to keep looged in?
  8. Milo, my Banshee is much like like yours as far as jetting. Similar mods except runs pods w/ no box. T5's +4 timing & V2's, Noss head w/ 20cc. Plugs look about like yours too. Run's 370's w/ 27 pilots. Starts easy, runs crisp/clean, no bogs & no air leaks either. 93 pump gas, 32/1 Klotz Super Tech. Stock carbs, no porting. Doesn't make sence. Ran like this since new in '03.
  9. Good post Tyler... a good air pressure gauge that reads clearly is key as well. Side to side tire pressure difference is much more pronounced in how straight you launch when down at these low pressures.
  10. I boxed in a local club in the mid 70's, wasn't very good but enjoyed it anyway. 106 lbs. walking blood transfusion saved by a tenacious ability to go to sleep very quickly. Huge fan of the past greats like Lous, Marciano, Ali, Robinson, Hagler, Foerman & Sugar Ray Leonard. They seem far & few between now days. I think that void has allowed & strengthed the MMA's popularity.
  11. Welcome Joey, You already spell & punctuate well, you'll see what I mean! Enjoy your new ride. Nice bike.
  12. Hey Brandon! Good to hear from you. Sounds like you have a nice family, Ccngrats. You still around Wichita?

Says it all, will be hard to beat. He's back. As good as he has run so far, that's a very good choice. Hendrick team & motors will be strong contenders.

  18. Bump for a sweet bike. I've had two RD's like this one and an RZ. They will surprize allot of larger displacement bikes!
  19. We think alike on this, tempting yes, but I'll keep my old '67 SS.
  20. Don't know much about bama, sound like good people though.
  21. Rode today for an hour w/ new neighbors, yesah was cold, wore coveralls. Neighbors never had been around a Banshee before, new to 4-wheelers. They had a predator & a Raptor. We had fun, they got smoked. I ran over a possum that zagged when he should of zigged on first drag rip. Used him rest of time for lane divider.
