  1. Hey Tyler Where's post "Who I'd like to Punch"  And in a few years I will be getting close to old. Thanks for coming.
  2. White Bros. "R" series on mine. Runs OK. Don't really know if it as good as others or not. Loud obnoxious 4 stroke.
  3. Here's my '02 400. Fun bike to play around on. Bullet proof, reliable, easy for anyone to ride one. Always want back on the Banshee before too long.
  4. Don't run kenda knarlys. I wouldn't want to race somebody using them. Don't listen to Loco !!
  5. I agree with wacko2000, 2nd gear start will help. Also it helps me with a good staight start if I really have my rear tire pressure matched side to side. I run 3 1/2 lbs in cut knarlys for dirt/grass drags. Amazing traction, spin greatly reduced. If you can, a few practice starts would get you a good idea for your best conbination of seat position & shift duration. You should take him, but that start is key.
  6. John sold me a radiator shroud. He had it packaged & shipped quicker than I figured out if the payment went through. You won't be disapointed buying from this man. Cannon
  7. Wanting to buy stock radiator plastic only. Let me know what you got & how much you want for it. Had a little run in with an electric fence wire.

Hey Red...there will be peace when you are done. You didn't go east far enough buddy!
  9. Who hasn't ever made a mistake? None of us, no problem here. Get something like a ratio-rite mix cup and see by the marks on it how much pre-mix to fuel you want to mix.
  10. To clean my K&N pods, I use "Simple Green" spray cleaner. Inexpensive & you can buy it anywhere, works great!
  11. I cut mine. Loco told me how to do it after I was talking about spinning so much on grass drag racing. Used a saw-zall with a course wood blade then used a copper tire wheel to smooth them down. Smokey job but was worth it!
  12. Tire drops down on the cut out and somewhat like a paddle, the next row of knobs gets a full, deep bite on the ground. Best launch I ever have got on grass & dirt. Leave on my banshee in second very much like in sand. I don't see why every other row of knobs cut wouldn't work similar on other types of rear tires if cut in a similar pattern. These are mainly for straight line drags, you won't corner like on your x-drive bkt's, hole shots, razers ect.
  13. I felt the same about racing dirt/grass untill locogato told me up about cut Kenda Knarleys. You will hook hard out of the hole & not worry much about catching up.
  14. Tyler, at my age I'm holdin' on to everything I got anyway! Trick is to go easy on the Metamusil to hold on tight enough! It is a wicked start compared to the normal banshee spin. You added allot of fun to drag racing my shee with these tires.
  15. Hey Rob!

  16. Tyler Clark told me about these tires & how to cut them. I used the Knarleys & cut off the short rows of knobs with a saws-all w/ a course wood blade. I used a copper tire patch wheel on a drill to smooth them off next to the tires carcass. I have ran them for a year now for grass & dirt drags & they hold up excellent, one tough tire. The ride is not bad, not nearly the bump like a paddle tire on hard pack or asphalt. I tried about every tire except paddle brats, trying to hook for drag races on dirt / grass & have found none to compare to this set up. Tire spin is greatly reduced, the launch to me is similar to sand starts.
  17. dajogejr's right, Kenda's with every other row cut off will hook better for drag racing on grass & dirt than any tire you can put on a Banshee.
