Guy sends used motor and trans from hack. Other Guy puts motor together and figures out trans was hacked. Other Guy then tears down motor and assembles again. Electrical Guy forgets to plug in Dyno. Other Guy fiddle fucks with used carbs instead of ordering new. Other Guy waits 4 months with motor in Dyno bike and eventually Guy gets impatient. Other Guy and Other Guy's Wife then pulls motor from Dyno bike and says they will refund Dyno price. Motor is shipped in Dog Shit Box and months later the refund never comes. Guy upset he's not been paid, and now has way to many rags, so he made this thread. Other Guy who should have clues on how to ship a motor says "excuse, excuse, excuse, enjoy the free rags"3 points

It’s this simple post up the proof of what was agreed upon. If in fact you are owed 350 then I feel for you. Everyone saying he got a deal and should wash his hands of 350 is fucked. I’ll tell you what I’m not hurting for money but I’ll gladly take 350 from anyone who wants wash their hands of their hard earned money. Send it my way boys and girls. he isnt saying he wasnt paid he is saying the invoice came out to more then what the original money sent cost. so in the end, it cost 500 more then what it was supposed to. he credited you the 350 for the dyno time, leading you to still have a invoice of 150. I think more people are siding with the builder because his posts are clear and we can understand them, rather then your crazy all over the place rants.2 points

Herney gets top dollar, because everything he sells is top notch. He ships exactly when he says, and packs it premium. Price is the price.1 point

As an outsider not knowing the history , it seems that social justice or shaming is a first response. I'm sure there are better avenues that could (should be) used rather then a smearing on both sides Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk1 point

8 pages of he said, she said. Can we just chalk this up to an impatient customer and agree shipping motors in a cardboard box is nuts? Lol.1 point

Claudia, Although I think you're a dummy, I can respect the fact that you can produce the numbers and computer simulation in such short order. You are still a dummy, but you are at least an educated dummy.1 point

Same 12`` long, 2`` diameter tubes. One is solid and one is hollow. Same forces on them. The solid weight 1674g and got a max stress of 7070psi. The hollow (.250`` wall) weight 732g.and got a max stress of 11000psi. So no debate, the solid is stronger, the simulation is 100% accurate. The fun part is lets check how big the hollow have to be, to be as strong as the solid and how i twill weight. That is engineering, that is the fun part. I played with some config for about 5 min and here is the results : With a hollow tube of 2.4`` Dia, you got the same strengh with 900g weight!!! That’s why we say solid is always stronger for the same shape and size, but hollow have a better weight to strengh ratio. I hope i twill clear any doubts about this subject. Theory must match real life and i gave you the example. Short story: It take a 2.4`` hollow tube with .250 wall ( 900gr) to be as strong as a solid 2`` tube. (1675gr)1 point

I don't even think he wanted paid at all until all this BS started. That's why he sent the motor back without a final invoice. Just to be done with it. Good bye, good riddance. Now all this and he is thinking "fine, here's your invoice, pay me what you owe or STFU". Just my take based on the posts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Simple....because he was willing to wash his hands of it and let it go. Now you're dragging it all out. Like Ginger stated.....his posts make sense and can be followed. Your posts are all over the place and make no sense. Plus, again, you cause drama everywhere you go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Tyler.. I know your not shy to do whats needed and I know your EXTREMELY lenient on whats posted and let people say what they believe ect without ban hammer repercussions which is a biggie!.... putting this all aside like anywhere a builder / sponsor will be favored over a customer on here (its normal, its always been like that and ofcourse you cant keep everyone happy) The reason i brought up funds is because people are saying its only 350$ cut your losses and move on... NO ONE just willfully takes a loss for no reason (when they believe their in the right) Yes I do tend to favor the customer because I was personally in a situation with a sponsor and my issues got throw out the window because "there's no way a builder can do wrong" heck a shit ton of members ended up contacting me personally after wards saying they had identical issues but never posted just to save face on here.... if the final invoice was NEVER 100% settled / reviewed between builder and customer (which should of been done even before the motor hit the dyno) so be it that DOES make a difference... not one customer or builder can 100% promise its going to stay within budget or estimate... however it is up to the builder to keep track and keep the customer up to date on that not wait to the last minute once shit hits the fan to say well you actually still ow me for.......... the second the customer was contacting you on a reg basis should of been a red flag from the start.... instead they chose to ignore?... still a few BS issues on the table that shouldn't of ever happened either way... I know shit happens but damn....1 point

Typical response from members when it comes to a sponsor with issues... been there done that.... I dont get how people arn't following the OP (more like they don't want to) .... sent a motor asked to go over porting improve where ya can sent cash upfront for the pre planned work including a dyno run (wouldnt it be great if it was RE PORTED and LOST HP LOL, I Know most of us here can think of a certain builder that used to be here that had that happen) then sent additional $$$ to get some unknown at the time cobbled parts fixed. So now Kan is trying to justify not refunding $$ for the dyno time by charging time to install / remove motor out of dyno chassis (which should of been pre charged in the initial build invoice upfront (also apparently dyno chassis / motor was ready to go for 4 months but yet the dyno wasn't plugged in / working.... sorry but this guy is getting hosed and kan is hiding behind a paid sponsorship and nut swingers. everything was paid for and was AGREED BY BUILDER to run the motor on the dyno for 350 (which would account for the install / removal of motor on dyno chassis) 2400 for a cub rebuild within the US isnt that cheap... it cost me 2500 CAD to rebuild my 10 cub which involved nika, new domes and crank rebuild.... (which included retarded shipping costs to the US and back to me) no matter the amount OP paid for a service that he didn't get... sure as fuck i'd be pissed and wanting my cash back... im sure as hell Loco don't give out free hand outs either (cause rich people are stingy fucks with money and loco you claim to be well off so lets face it.....)1 point

Theory and real world always match. It match in this very case too, but for some reasons, that i really dont understand, you can't belive a mechanical engineer with 20 years of experience. I already provided a simulation, Nick explained it , torsion and shear formulas are known for century!! What else can we do??? It's not even debatable ffs!!! It's BASIC ENGINNERING, i can also provide formulas if you want. Then what, you will say those formulas arent true?? Same size/shape , solid is stronger. Same weight, hollow is stronger. All of this over $350????? Focking give it up!!!!!! Edit-- I had a good ol N2O paragraph typed out and deleted it. Just agree to disagree and move the fuck on. If that $350 is as big of a deal as you are leading to believe then you really need to sell the thing and get yourself into a better financial position. It could be the best running motor in the world. Fact is he payed for a service that was not performed. Id want (EXPECT) my money back for the dyno session as well. Lets be realistic here... ANYONE in their right mind that has a motor built for performance by a builder is an absolute fucking moron to not have it dynod, or to even consider a builder without a dyno. Why in the fuck would anyone pay big bucks for a motor that a builder claims will make “x” amount of power without any proof? Only a dumb fuck if you ask me. I learned my lesson on trusting a builders word yrs ago. FUCK THAT!! I need me some proof!1 point

How did I know Zilla gona copy n paste. Multiple dimensions ads a dimension and can increase strength in certain designs/applications. Real world experience talk1 point
