jay shafer Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 i'm a driver so i sign for stuff all the time when the resident is not there, but that is something that has been discussed by me and the customer. The only reason for that is b/c him or her not being at home when i deliver and that is the ONLY reason for me signing for it and leaving it somewhere where they can find it. But we have so many delivery options in our board etc. garage, fence, front door, at gate, under bush, behind bush and so on. It sounds a lil fisshy to me... Quote
awaitedshee Posted June 11, 2008 Author Report Posted June 11, 2008 if someone signed your name then fedex should be liable. they should have asked for id to verify address and the picture. i would be calling and raising fuckin hell. also, get a receipt for your shit from HERR. take and show it to them.. sounds like fedex dropped the ball. they cant just go around leaving packages with whoever the fuck they feel like. i know i called fed ex and it took forever to talk to someone because they have everything automated and finally i said you dropped my fuckin package off at the wrong spot then i got to talk to someone. i told them they need to come up with some kind of requirement that if your not the authorized preson then the person needs to have a specific association and provide identification incase for shit like this happens... its summer time and i havent gotten to have one good run on my shee since i bought it.... never even ran right stock....and im gettin jacked around Quote

jay shafer Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Sey loco the only bad thing about that is the all the driver would have to say is that someone signed for it and didn't get a chance to get the id and describe awaitedshe from one time he has seen him or just say that SOMEONE signed for the package. I know it sounds f*cked up but its true..... Quote
00tbanshee Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 man that really sucks.hope everything works out and you find them.let us know Quote

BenBB Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Dude that fucking BLOWS. That's why it pays to be tight with your UPS guy, I get all my shit delivered to work and they take care of it, at least once it hits my town I know it's ok heh. I'd be tracking down that delivery dude ASAP and ask him what's up while he might remember who/where/WTF happened. Good luck. Quote
HammerShee99 Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Damn, what a shitty deal. Hope you can get to the bottom of this. Quote
YOURADHERE Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Ive dealt with Fed Ex before in regards to lost packages. Those fucksticks lost a set of paddles that I bought and made a killer deal on. Having dealt with them...heres something to prepare you. You, as the recipient, can't do shit by Fed Ex's policy. The responsiblity to file a claim/complain/get it straight is in the hand of the shipper/seller not you. Once the seller/shipper has filed a claim prepare to be dicked around for 4-6 weeks as they "review" it. IF...and thats IF they deem your claim to be their fault they'll remburse you. But be ready for this to take at least 2 months. Fed Ex couldnt give a damn about your claim so have however files it call them regularly to check on it. Good luck. Quote
KEVSWS6 Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Please contact me so I can start this ball rolling with FedEx. Quote
Dark Ranger Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 You don't have any friends that would have picked them up to mess with you do you? Or maybe somebody whos @ss you were about to kick with the new cylinders? Good luck tracking them down. Quote
jay shafer Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 I know u see that same fedex guy all the time i would track his azz down and ask him about it b4 his memory claims to get foggy and found out what he did with them... Quote
dragbanshee Posted June 12, 2008 Report Posted June 12, 2008 Thats bullshit, I dont see how someone could get a hold of those jugs if the fed-ex man had to come to your door and have a signature. Something stinks here, so someone broke into your house and signed for your jugs OR the delivery BOY wasn't doing his job right, cause he should have checked the name with the one on his paper work. Unleeess... his jugs were on their last bore. Good Luck! Quote
