The first number is the width, second number is the length offset (think wheelbase length) so +2 +1 would be 2 inches wider and 1 inch further forward than stock geometry...

I've never heard/read anything bad about them.

Keep this in mind, your current shocks will have to be revalved and/or resprung for wider A Arms, you are putting more leverage on the shocks....with wider arms, and they will feel like mush, softer than what you're used to, probably bottom out easier.

Color is pure preference.... I'm going to assume these arms have removable ball joints (the reason you can't PC stockers) so....if it's cheaper and easier to get them PC'd yourself...wait. Then again, if it is only a little more money, I'd just let them do it. Your time and money....your call.

If they're stockers, even if you stiffen up...it's gonna be mushy.

I honestly don't know if you can rebuild/respring stockers, but I'm sure someone on here can tell ya...

I have a set of wicked +2+1 a-arms and I like them...They are a pretty good product and they mounted right up with minimal issues...The ball joints are removable....The PC is included in the price. Bansh-eman also has a set but he is having issues with mounting his spindles...But he's the only one I know of that is having issues.

yup they are a very nicely build a arm... like handy said im having some problems getting my spindles to mounts up but ill get it figured out. i just dont have the time to sit down and not get bothered by my wife wanting me to come help with the baby. i told her this saturday is my day to get all my shit done... i have ALOT of catching up to do around the house from being gone for a month so ill hopfully get them on right this week end. although im going to have to send my shocks in to have them cut down cause i think mine are too long.

I bought a set and then purchased new works shocks for them and had a similar problem. The geometry on the ball joints was wrong, I had to compress the shock to put the lower shock bolt in. I talked to the guy at Wicked a couple of times to solve it and and he thought I was screwed up. He wouldn't let me return them. Lonestar uses the same ball joints but puts them at a better angle. I sold them and bought a set of a-arms from another manufacture and they were poorly made so I returned them and built my own a-arms. There was a recent post in the suspension forums on with some members talking about Wicked arms and they mentioned some problems withthe tie rods.

My opinion is don't waste your time with Wicked Products they didn't stand behind their product for me.

This is a common problem with alot of a-arm manufacturers who use automotive style ball joints. My Metal Tech arms on my blue bike are like that............I will be screwing with switching to a heim setup this weekend. :geek:

I used YFZ ball joints for my a-arms. The tapered stud is longer so you can't pinch a hole in the rubber boot with the spindle if you use the ball joint travel to the limit. If you have a set of Wickeds you might have experience this.

My Wicked a-arms are the shit!!! The spindle mounting wasn't any problem on mine. I did, however, build the shock mount myself on mine to accept LTR450 length shocks. I didn't experience any pinching of the boots on the ball joints, but I'm gonna keep that YFZ ball joint trick in mind in case I think I can squeak a little more articulation out of the ball joint travel. IMO heim ball joints are J-U-N-K!!!

I'd say the spindle problems some are having are from trying to run a shock that is a little longer than stock which puts you outside of the articulation limit unless you change the mounting point of the shock.

They are fully adjustable for castor, camber and toe, so it takes some know how to get them mounted correctly.

Really........come on. Automotive style ball joints put in bending in an ATV a-arm application is terrible........a heim joint isn't perfect, but it's better than that. What you really want is a press in ball joint like in OEM applications or some of the high-end a-arms.

Where are you getting this "automotive ball joint" crap at? Call Tim at Wicked and ask. They use the same ball joints you get with Laeger. They're not the Autozone ball joints your talking about where you have to ream the spindle.
