  1. i found this amazing impala,its a 66.good condition.v8,its currently parked in his warehouse ,it has 38,000 miles on it,and he's asking for 17,700 bux,u guyz think i should go for it,i really love old classics

  4. alright ahlaiin!! i dropped the needle by a notch,now starts better and idles perfect,maybe cuz its lean.im gonna get some 310 and 300 main's,27.5 pilots,raise the clip by a notch again,and ill see wat happens.u no guyz i really lost hope for my bike,that i even forgot i had a shee,im really disappointed with it

  7. hi again,i've decided to upgrade my shocks from stockers to marvin shaw competition ones.front and rear.thats the only one my builder has and i think the only shocks in my budget and if i want some elkas or fox.or works,i have to order them from the u.s,and those brands are expensive,and i even have to pay for international shipping things are too pricey .i was on the marvin shaw's site a while ago and read that i would need to do some slight adjustments to them if i wanna make it dune able,any one of u guyz know what are those tweaks.and do u think i should go ahead and buy them.i 90% of the time cruise around the desert with some small hills,and occasional hill shoot.thnxxx EDITE:im really eying the coilovers.
  8. sup guyz,long time no see.anywayz i had jetted my shee with 320 mains, raised tha needle by a notch,shee doesnt idle so strong,abit hard to start but after it starts with chock on half for a few seconds then idles fine but at very low rpm,when i ride it its amayzing but when i go full throttle its asif the bike is not warm,u no when u feel like its not burning fuel properly at full throttle,u think its anythng to do with the jetting,lean or rich?? and i have verry old ass plugs on her,i found them laying around the garage.thnxx tommey 5's, pods,stock carb. normal ridding temp(above 0 celcius) stock pilot.
  9. alright went to tha workshop got my self some 320's.will put them on tomorrow and and will raise tha needle by a notch and will see,and abt tha tha pilot thnx for remminding me blaster,i think ill go with tha 27.5. hope my lucks good,and spoke to tha builder abt a 4mill setup,he said he will put a hotrods 4mill crank and a drag porting,with special cut domes,blaster pistons, .100 borev force 3,a coolhead,carbs size 36,and cpi inframes
  10. k im gonna be leaving to tha work shop and buying 320 jets,and ill drop th clip one notch like motor builder said,now its time for tha final say,cuz others recommended goin more.so what is it gonna be,320,330,340?? and i cant buy all 3 pairs
  11. as tha title says, my t5's started rusting,my stinger tubes are rusted like hell,and my head pipe on tha right started to rust,btw my pipes are in chrome,is there anyway i can remove tha rust or prevent it from rusting more(any solvents)?? thnxx again sa3ood
  12. hi again,i know ive asked alot abt this but i need a final answer,i no this is annoying,but plz bare with me,my stupid ass builder put 280 mains on my shee (t5's and pods only) it sux theres no power,its too raw,and if i wanna start it i have 2 pull tha choke and kick it 2 or 3 times and once it starts, i close tha choke and it starts idling high,so yeah im lean, i managed to find a builder that sells jets above 290,anyways tha new dealer sells 2 main jets for 16$,wtf!! so what do u guyz think should i buy ,310's or 320's,and i cant seem to find a place that i can plug chop . current mods: t5's,pods (stock carbs) elevation:sea level ridding temps: lowest is 12 'C, highest is 35'C (i ride in temps between these) ,thnx a million
  13. hi guyz,what do u guyz think of the new dodge challenger,(6.1L),is it powerfull and should it be bought manual trans or auto for more power.and is tha 6.1L better or tha 5.7L?? thnxx
  14. i run nitrogen in mine,and even have tha nos switch on tha handle bars,i walk on can ams(spelling) all day
  15. alright concerning my jetting issue,i couldnt really do a plug chop,but could reach 6th gear,al most WOT in most of tha gears,there is like a weird hesitation or laag in tha bike,but when i hits tha power band it fuking amayzing,i calld tha builder up,i told him ill be there 2morrow 2 pik up 320 mains,and 27.5 pilots.but tha bikes response in really really gd,.and i decided not to install tha timming plate,cuz i knew tha jetting was off,and lean means tha cylinder runs hotter,and timming = more heat,so hotter cylinders+timming=fukkd up pistons,and dnt have money for a engine rebuild,stupid me went and bought a ipod touch
  16. this jetting thing sux bro,i think ill have 2 do a plug chop on my current jetting spec,and see,cuz many say that he does it verry gd,lets see,and if anythng happns ill just get rebuild with wiesco pro lights and a agressive port :biggrin:
  17. so u recommend me using stock position air screw and needle jet,and do i have 2 use 27.5 pilots,or will tha stock be ok,just curios,cuz sm ppl use 25 pilots,
  18. i thought that ill get main jets: 290---->330 pilot jet: 27.5(would i need a 30??) needle: stock position(is that tha middle??) air screw: 1.5 -2.0 turns out.or should i just leave it stock(i think 2 turns out)?? then take it to the dyno,cuz i dnt think i can go find a wide ass place to pin it and then get bak home and then go bak and kick it again....anywayz what do u guyz think of my jetting spec,close enough
  19. k wow,i just spoke to my builder abt tha jets he used in my shee(t5's and pods) he is like,280mains,stock needle on 4th clip,25 pilots,2.0turn out air screw,i told him thats its to lean,but he's like no its not,he has been using tha jetting spec for many years on other shee's and theres no prob.i spoke to one of my buddies that got his shee jetted from there and he is like its normal.my elevation is sea level,temps are: tha lowest 10 C(winter) 40 C(summer)[i ride in between these temps,but mostly in winter],lukily i havnt started my shee yet cuz i have alot of neighbors that i dnt wana annoy,and he couldnt start is cuz i 4got to give him my key....wtf 2 do,im verry stumped and pissed,and yeah plz 4get abt tha 4mill thing,i might just go with porting :ermm: :ermm: :ermm: :ermm: :ermm:
