350BANSHEE350 Posted April 20, 2007 Author Report Posted April 20, 2007 (edited) so i have to rejet for going up 500 feet? right now the bike is jetted for 3500 feet so i have to rejet all the time? , thats retarded what if i dont rejet? Edited April 20, 2007 by 350BANSHEE350 Quote
r/atvshee Posted April 20, 2007 Report Posted April 20, 2007 If you dont rejet. You can be lean or rich. Maybe enough for it to seize or meltdown. Also you will foul alot more plugs. Jetting isnt really hard its just a 15min thing and its something you have to do. Not to be an ass but if its retarded then why did you get a banshee? Quote
350BANSHEE350 Posted April 20, 2007 Author Report Posted April 20, 2007 i havnt rejeted bofore and i figured that you wouldnt need to unless its like a 1000 foot difference not 500 feet thats like a hill climb for some well thanks for the replys my bike is stock and only has engine ice and im going to need to rejet for about 3700-4000 feet at about 15-30 degrees celcius so any any ideas on what i should je it for and sometips for when i do rejet Quote
r/atvshee Posted April 20, 2007 Report Posted April 20, 2007 Check what size jets are already in there. Im no jetting guru, so someone would be able to help you out a little more  Quote

jlsparky7 Posted April 20, 2007 Report Posted April 20, 2007 If you quad is stock I wouldnt worry about it. Ive run mine anywhere from 100 to 10 degree temps without rejetting and its fine. Its also stock. In all honesty I think itll be fine. Quote
scooter Posted April 20, 2007 Report Posted April 20, 2007 i would not rejet for 500ft. i run mine between a 1000 ft and it does just fine check your plugs and go from there Quote
MILO Posted April 20, 2007 Report Posted April 20, 2007 if i had to rejet for 500 ft, i'd have to stop along the trails and change my jetting all the time. we're not a bunch of flatlanders here in pa and it's nothing to have elevation changes of alot more than that while riding. i wouldn't worry about it.
