Just wondering if it is normal not to run the 32/1 fuel oil mixture? I got an all stock 06 banshee with only modification of a k&n filter / no snorkle 220 mains 25 pilots. I seem to foul a lot of plugs at idle like when im warming it up. I do rev the throttle while warming it up to keep it from loading up. I have also played with the screws turning them out like three turns. Do you think i need to go lower on the pilot or can you just play with the fuel/oil mixture? Thxs for any info!!!!

Dude its not your gas/oil pre-mix because your supposed to run a Banshee at 32:1 , its definately your jetting, as far as what you should jet it at I dont know, but its definately not your pre-mix ratio.

Mine is a all stock 06 I run mine a 32:1.

whats "better" to run?

yamalube 24:1 or 32:1

i would think 24:1 because it has more oil for lube

Even though the manual says 24:1, that is alot of oil. Run it anywhere between 32:1 and 40:1 and you should be fine. Keep an eye on the jetting also.

Only on warm up? Probobly wrong jetting or maybe a bad stator. When I had a bad stator it would foul plugs only on warm up.

thxs for the reponse guys, but if its a jetting problem at idle it would be the pilot jet, right??? And also, should you be able to just let the bike idle or is that bad for these two strokes??? Thxs again for any info!!

Because it is liquid cooled with no fan, you dont want to let it idle for long periods of time. Air moving through the radiator is necessary to keep the coolant temp down. I let mine idol for 4 or 5 minuted to warm up. Anytime after warmup, I never let it idle for more than a minute or so. You shouldn't need to go any smaller than a 25 pilot (stock). What kind of plugs are you using, and what do they look like when you "foul" them?
