  3. Ok im doing a top end rebuild, i know this is ganna sound silly but can you do this with the motor in and just removing the gas tank for some room ?? My bike is STOCK, so if i order the wiseco piston kit 64 mm that would be the right size for a stock engine, correct??? (Dont worry ill be getting a clymers Manual!!) Thxs for any help!!!!
  4. Just wanted to know what a stock banshee compression should be. I have pretty much all stock, except t5s, k&n filter, no motor work at all, and 600 above sea level. I have 110 compression in both cylinders. Is this ok or low. Only have no more than 20 hrs on bike and thought the jetting was pretty close all the time. Thxs for any info!!!!
  5. Ok thxs for the tips, the reason i was asking was i didnt advance the timing yet, i want to check what my compression is first. If it is above 150, i just wanted to see what i would need to do. Sorry for all the questions just trying to learn all i can before i do something stupid. Thxs again!!
  6. thxs for the responses guys. Speedy2222 is that 100LL an airplane fuel??? Cause i do live near an airport. And do you run that strait???? Also one for question, does it hurt to run the higher octane even of ya dont need it (Like to be on the safe side) thxs again.
  7. Ok i tried the search but it didnt give me the exact answer i was looking for so what im asking is ive got an 06 banshee all stock except, open lid, k&n, and t5's. I just got a adjustable timing plate and want to advance to +4. I need to know what the max compression is before i need to run a more octane gas. I believe ive read anything above 150, but wasnt sure. I currently run 93 octane. Thxs for any info, its greatly appreciated!!!
  8. Does anybody know if they sell the stock light covers(there actually grills) but in metal instead of the stock plastic. I looked around and didnt see anything. thxs
  9. Ok ive owned a banshee for two years and still have some un answered questions. Since a Banshee is a 350 twin engine, is it really still a 350 or would it equal out to a 700 since it is a twin??? Like how does it compare to a raptor which has a 700 in it ???? Thxs for any info!!!!
  10. Got a 2006 banshee with k&n filter, no lid, t5 exaust , tors removed and when i do a plug chop the plugs look pretty good but they look a little wet or sooty on the end of the plug and also have oil on the tips of the exaust. Just wondering if that means im to rich or is it that my mix of 32/1 is to much oil. Like i said ive done plug chops and i think they look pretty good (25 pilot and 300 mains- 500 ft above sea level-70-90 degrees. Thxs for any info!!!
  11. Looking into getting the toomey t'5 pipe set from rockey mountain. My question would be do i need to get anything else as in the hardware to mount these or like gaskets or anything? Or is everything i need with this. Also is it ok to run these pipes on a stock engine?(upgrades maybe in the future) And lastly some jetting help for these pipes on an all stock bike except k&n filter, 500ft above sea level, 70 to 80 degrees? Pilot 25 or 27? Thxs for any help!!!
  12. thxs for the reponse guys, but if its a jetting problem at idle it would be the pilot jet, right??? And also, should you be able to just let the bike idle or is that bad for these two strokes??? Thxs again for any info!!
  13. Just wondering if it is normal not to run the 32/1 fuel oil mixture? I got an all stock 06 banshee with only modification of a k&n filter / no snorkle 220 mains 25 pilots. I seem to foul a lot of plugs at idle like when im warming it up. I do rev the throttle while warming it up to keep it from loading up. I have also played with the screws turning them out like three turns. Do you think i need to go lower on the pilot or can you just play with the fuel/oil mixture? Thxs for any info!!!!
  14. Ok i just bought a Pro Flo adapter for my filter on E-Bay. The adapter flange measures like 3 1/2 inches on way and 2 9/16 the other. Its oval shaped. It did come with a pro flo filter but it was used and very dirty. I thought id be able to use the K&N i had on it now. But its to big for the adapter plate. The K&N i had on it fit the stock adapter. So i tried looking on the K&N web site but cant find the size i would need. Does anybody else have this adapter size? If so what #K&N filter u using? Maybe i cant use a K&N filter and only a pro flo filter with this adapter!! Any help is appreciated!!!!!!!!!
  15. thxs much guys
  16. Just wondering if anyone could tell me what size jetting your using for total stock banshee with k&n filter(with or without lid) would be for 500 ft above sea level and like 40f to 50f degrees. Any help is appreciated!!!
  17. thxs for the info guys
  18. just wondering if anyone has gotton the pro power pack with the k&n filter and jet kit? If so does the kit come with the filter adapter plate. It doesnt say so im sure it doesnt but thought id ask. Thxs for any info!!!
  19. I got a month old banshee. As of right now shes all stock. 200 mains, 25 pilots, and middle clip of needle and 32/1 mix . Ive done alot of reading on this jetting thing and starting to understand it. Since ive had it its been running rich and ive fouled some plugs. And when i pull the plugs out there wet and black!! So she been runnin a little sluggish from like off idle to about second gear then she goes well after that. So today i decided to to do a plug check. I put the new plugs in and ran her flat out but for like only 5 seconds in sixth gear. (is that long enough to get a good read?) I then cut the plug up and found a very small light brown ring at the bottom. I then decided to cut the old plug that i had in it before that had like 10 minutes of riding time on it and it had a big black ring on it. SO does that mean that maybe the main is a little lean but the pilots are rich... Im a little confused so any help would be appreciated. Im about 500 feet above sea level and its like 45 degrees. I also had the snorkel off(thinking it would help with the rich condition.) I plan on some piped and k&n filter soon but till then id like to know where im at. any help is appreciated. thxs
