you can test it with an ohmmeter or a multi-tester

Ya try switching the spark plug wires and see if the problem stays on the same side or switches. that will give you a good indication if its an electrical problem or not. Try that and get back to us.

Thanks for the input . The coolant doesnt even feel that hot at all when it shoots out. I think the radiator cap seal is torn. Ill check that out. Anyone else got any ideas also?

My banshee keeps shooting coolant out the overflow. Only when im in WOT getting on it hard. still has bottle on it. 310 mains 27.5s needle on 4th clip and 1400 ft elevation. stock except for Toomey T'5s. and bored 20 over. runs bomb. starts first kick almost every time. just seems to get hot at WOT. I think its still a little lean on the mains but not sure. any input would help thanks.

I wouldnt buy buy from Ricks. I bought an aftermarket one from them brand new and it was junk. I think its Rickystator with a differant name. Now im lookin for a new stock one for sale.

Did your bike run like that before you put the rs stator on? Ive had nothin but problems with them. So does it only do it when warm or all the time? If it only does it warm you could ohm the stator cold then get your bike nice and warm and ohm it again. If you can get your hands on a stock stator definitely try it.

The only time this happend to me is when I forgot to put my crossover tube back on.... And the lean condition caused it to keep running. Is your crossover tube on your carbs on with no airleaks?

After I got rickystator All Ive been having is problems.....Took it to a shop finally just to tell me what was wrong. It was the stator. after going threw 2 coils I got a brand new coil tested it tested good. Put it on my bike rode it shut it off and It wouldnt start again. Tested it and it tested bad. Threw a used one on same exact thing. ruined 2 at the shop. Threw my friends stock stator on and his coil and all problems went away. And when I called and talked to them there customer service seemed to be good but I asked them If other people have problems with banshee stators too, and they said not very often.

Just what ever you do Plz dont get a rickystator high output 200 watt stator.....Everyone is having problems with them.....I was a victim too.

Give us some more info like is it complely stock? Does it have tors? What exactly is it doing?

Well I just want to let everyone know not to ever buy a ricky stator ever. I bought a rickystator not knowing what there about. About 300$ with timing plate. ruined 4 ignition coils about 200$....some new some used... ruined 2 of them today on my mother fuckin b-day......Should have listened to Dajogejr...... before I found out it was the rickystator. All they will do is send me another piece of shit stator... THIS IS TO EVERYONE OUT THERE DONT BUY A MOTHER FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT RICKYSTATOR.

Dood When your bike is idling. and your kickstarter is in......set your foot on the kickstarter.....Noise stops....Your kickstarter needs rebuilt simple fix......

I took my banshee out today fired it up idled good rode it Ran fuckin great. warmed it up.....then It wouldnt idle or kickstart again...Had to push start it. Air filter is cleaned and oiled new plugs gaped carbs cleaned good no clogged jets and floats are good so they dont leak at all. I used to have to have that problem all the time till I got the inline filter. I guess Im just gonna pay those pricks at the shop there stupid $84.50 So that they can tell me why my banshee wont start warm.

You run 190? ya there really picky when it comes to jetting it seems like.

My mods are in my sig. It does start warm but my air screws are 3 turns out. And It would not start warm with my 30 pilots at all. So now I know its a jetting problem. I I think I might need to go one size smaller on my pilot jets. Thanks for the help tho -Tyler

I just put the 27.5 jets in. Went down from the 30s. And still same problem Banshee starts cold and runs good and idles good and everything. But when I shut it off It will not kick start. I have to tow start it to get it running again. I have no idea what this problem is. Mods are in sig elevation is 1400' And its about 105degrees. I think its either that new Ricky stator fuckin with me or I need another top end rebuild. Compression is about 110 in both. And after It gets warm and I let it sit for like 20 min It will kickstart after about 5 of my hardest kicks. Anyone have any Ideas. Before I just take it to the shop.

whats your compression gonna be? I dont think you need to mix it but im not sure. ask

are those plugs new or old? ya a light brown is good post up some pics and we can help you more.
