ATF Type F here as well, wont use anything else. I've had better results with type F than any other oil like GEARSAVER, plus the cost is about a $1 per qt

I just use 15W-40, same stuff I run in my Diesel :thumbsup:

could prob just google it, its automatic transmission fluid, but you must use the type F for our clutches

anything will work as long as your cases arnt empty, in honda two stroke trannys they run 80w, some guys use thin trany oil....i like the thick stuff since my trany whips and churns the oil, ive changed my oil with the bike hot and my 80w honda oil came out of the cases like piss it was so thin....some oils will make your clutch slip

mmm i don't know. Im not sure what my bike would make on a dyno but i have never had a problem with clutch slipping. I have actually been runnin the same clutch ever since my first build in 2002. And like said before its what i put in every bike that leaves my shop; all of them with no complaints.

Gearsavers a serious waste of money..

 

I'd rather change my oil 3 times for the price of one change of gearsaver...

 

I run the 10w40 Castrol motorcycle oil, without any problems at all.

 

I think if my piss looked like spent gearsaver i'd be heading to the emergancy room..

I just tore my cover off to inspect my new basket install and filled her up with Mercon Vi. Whatcha think about that. Works good in my Mustang.
