anthony6621
I just bent my sub frame in the front where the radiator is at. My gas tank wont come off. The plastic covering the radiator doesnt sit right or the side covers covering the gas tank. Any cheap fixes?( im a broke college student) Here is a pic. ( sorry didnt have my digital camera)

kaotik1
I have a 2001 frame for sale!
okbeast
1. Get big bar 2. Position bar 3. Bend subframe back  Buddy bent his up a little where his tank wouldn't come off and he just bent 'er back. I can't tell from the pic where it's bent, but just position the bar in the right place and I don't think you'd have any problems.
FasterThanU90
2x4 and a small sledge would be ur best bet for now steering stem is probly bent too if u can get it out it might make it a little easier to bend back
Bansh-eman
if you take it out make sure you dont over do it and cant get the stem back in and ined up right
anthony6621
Im going to try using a Tie Down attached to a tree to bend it back. Should i take off the radiator and steering stem? My steering stem is slightly bent, but not enough to buy a new one plus i love hill climbing.

yamaha04
dude i did the same thing when i first got my banshee only not as bad. make sure you do take the steering steem off also anything else you can. i straped mine to a tree and then used a come along and bent it alittle past where it was supose to be and then when i took off all staps it came right back into place and hasnt moved since but i do suggest after doing you gusset the frame there. something i should do soon
anthony6621
alright. I removed the steering stem but i kept the radiator on. I tried bending it back with a tie down and a tree but after a while the bike just didn't stay stationed and it started dragging. I put a few blocks on the rear wheels and the brakes.. any suggestions?
Snopczynski
push the thing back in place, reweld the sheet metal supports and add some new supports.
