dajogejr Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 What are you a moron Dyna says outright dont change the wire's .stock wire's are fine. So what do you do you change the wires. What do you think you know more the then the engineers from Dyna FS, In all my years of riding and racing i have never herd such a hill billy in my life. Son, go back to school...or send your "Track Mechanic" back to school. Maybe between the two of you, you'll learn to spell, punctuate, and your ass from a hole in the ground. Dyna says in the instructions it is designed to work with stock components. Obviously, reading and comprehending isn't one of your strong points, for you still believe in a boost bottle. Allow me to translate that for you. (That's a big word for explain, btw...) It does NOT say you can't use after market coils or wires, it says it is designed to work with stock OEM stuff. In other words, Dyna will not verify if it works with others because there are simply too many other ignitions out there to verify it works with. Their covering their ass. Funny you should mention a Dyna Engineer. Yes, as a matter of fact I have talked to one, the LEAD engineer at Dyna. Over on planetsand.com, his name is Brad_. I had a complete discussion with him if they'd work, he said yes as long as they're not placed to close together, and he recommended I use resistor plugs. Funny...with my Dyna and Nology Coil w/ Hotwires it ran fine, all year long....drag strip, a quick trail ride and a weekend at the dunes.... Let me asssure you there is nothing hillbilly about my bike. Every part on it has been tested and approved, and I've spoken to some very trusted names in this business. Hmm....who's the smart guy now? Quote

dajogejr Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 Yeah, he just PM'd me and said he rode for 6 hours....what did I do? (I guess having a full time mechanic allows you to do that....) Unfortunately, since I don't live at home with Mom and Dad, haven't since I was 17...I had other equally important stuff to do. Hmm...yard work, house cleaning...ya know, stuff like that Mommy and Daddy can't do for you when you don't live with them. I've rode plenty this year, and will ride even more next on some long week trips.... I have no desire to ride 6 hours non-stop on a banshee...not my thing. Ride for a bit, sit and BS with buddies...that's what I'm all about. I think it's safe to say...a lot of dune riders are that way. Ride, relax, have a smoke....BS, get to know each other, make friends, meet new people....etc. Then again, what do I know? Quote
Screaming Yellow Zonker Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 I have been running B8ES ever since I have owned my bike. I have had problems with then but it was from other things than running. T.O.R.S. helped kill a set of plugs for me and when I burnt out my ignition I killed another set. But I do normally change my plugs twice a year just for peace of mind. Quote
Aaron.D Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 Live with my mom OK i really am not some teen. You just would rather talk shit then look at the facts that's, that's the problem. I don't live at home and yaa I do BS rides too. What I was saying is I can tune a banshee so I can beat the crap out of it for that long. That's how I ride. That's what endurance racing is all about. So just keep talking your smack it just shows me that's all you got. no answer to back up this technical background you have just smack talk I have already said lets move on and you just keep talking. Who's the man now. Really look at that who is being the kid. Sure I am younger, but I have responsibility's I pay a morgage.Phone, electrical and all in the long list we begin to know so well. I am out there day after day getting up a 5:00AM and working till 6:00 to pay the bills so don't tell me shit about that all you got is you have been doing it longer. Doesn't mean you learn anything along the way. And for a a young guy who not only works his ass off for his toys. My job requires me to be technical that's how I make a living, So yaa maybe I do expect a tech answer from someone who claims to me to be a tech. when I am one in a line of work who I am sorry just doesn't cut I don't have another day. Work hard play hard maybe you need to stay up a few night's later so you can go out Sunday because riding is life Not just some hobby.Deffinision proves strength, Smack talk proves a way to run off topic Quote

dajogejr Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 You just would rather talk shit then look at the facts that's, that's the problem. We've already decided the facts. You don't know shit, and have proved it. So...now we're just talking smack....the facts have already been set in stone. 1. You setup your bikes for long endurance racing? You...or your mechanic...Cletus? I'm confused, do you do your own work, or does your mechanic? 2. You work for a technical job? I'm proud of you, I'm sure you can measure out how much bleach per gallons of water it takes to scrub a toilet. Cause that's about as much sense as your math and reasoning makes to me....and others. The last time I got into a heated BOOST bottle discussion...yep, it was with another Duncan Racing fan....who, just like you...said the SAME EXACT THING. You are telling me it works. I am telling you it doesn't. (Oh, and everybody else is telling you it doesn't too...but, they don't know shit either)... You need me to prove it to you because you need a security blanket on why you wasted your 20 bucks, cause obviously you don't have a clue. Tell you what....I'm redoing my bike right now. NO, not cause the motor needs it, I'm going with a different tranny, clutch, etc. And alky. I will pull as many dyno runs as you want, without the bottle. then, I will put it on...(someone please send me one....I gave my last one away for shipping). If you are right, I will publicly tell everyone how great they are, etc....as well as send Lenny and Loren Duncan a note asking for a dozen of them...cause they're that damn good. If you're wrong....you pay for my gas, dyno time, and return shipping on the boost bottle I will have to borrow.... So...Joe Dirt, what's it gonna be? Whaa burger and French Cries? Thought so.... dajogejr Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 2001...sorry to muddy up the thread. I hope at the very least you are entertained...if not informed from all this. I'm done with this clown... Your credibility is in the shitter....from just about every post you've made you've proved your ignorance. I think I'm gonna go watch paint dry...seems to be a better use of my time than this guy... (Oh...and by the way, you can stop with the "tough guy" stuff...I never acted tough, never threatened you, etc. And I won't.... Talking tough to a screen with a keyboard is almost as pointless as your advice and a boost bottle. I will however continue to tell you you're full of shit, probably quite often, too.) Gonna go Join Aaron D. now, take a few more water hits off this here boost bottle.... Smoke 'em if you got 'em.... Quote

jbooker82 Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 So answer me this Ban-(SHE)-Man why do all of the leading banshee aftermarket Co. Make bottles. You think its really a selling gimic for the last 20years. White bros. Alba action. Trinity, Toomey they all stand by them for woods racing the Dunkan XC banch .w A over sized bottle. Yaa they just must have wanted to add weight and a risk of cracking boots in a 8 hr endurance race. So if you can tell me ? ill step up and say ok now i see they are crap. But if not you must do the same. Sounds like a fair deal in a place of dissagreement. Here is why they all make boost bottles. 4 EASY WELDS + $2 DOLLARS IN ALUMINUM = $25 DOLLAR SALE = $20 PROFIT.
