black sunshine
I'm looking for more ground clearance on the trail and I have 18" Holeshots. Love the way they hook up and slide, just wondering if there will be any major suprises with a 22" version.
BenBB
Other than the fact that they are HUGE, nah no surprises. They'll outlwear Holeshot MX's by a wide margin, and you'll get lotsa ground clearance, the tradeoff is much higher gearing...
crazybluerider
I run the xcts on my YFZ when I ride trails and they are awesome for ground clearance. I roll right though stuff that has my friends all hung up. I just run a 1 tooth smaller gear in the front when I have them on to compensate for the size. hook up and sliding is just right with these tires IMO. So far they have had very good wear as well. knight_ripper
Ive ran with XCT's and HD's ... I like the HD's better. BUT ... I LOVE my new Maxxis's. best 22" i've ever ran.
slowpokebanshee
I have had them for a few years (since they were introduced) and thay look new, but to be fair, I use them about once a year and put about one hundred miles on them, along the same course as the Baja 1000, so maybe 4-500 miles on them and look great.....perform awesome and no flats yet. dawarriorman
I used to have them before I got my XCRs. And while they don't handle near as well as the XCRs (taller and about 5 lbs heavier per tire), they hook up like crazy. Last forever, on won't get a flat. I wouldn't hesitate to get them again, if I wanted a 22" tire.

black sunshine
well im goign riding to helps tomarrow to see a freestyle show and was woundering if you wanted to go? Im kinda booked this weekend but thanks. Motocross freestyle? Let me know cause I just saw a couple guys at Crandon last weekend at the CORR world championships. One guy on a KTM and the other was on a black and silver CR250. Very cool, everything including backflips. Insane. One of my friends said he was from Iron mountain or felch area. Got a foam pit in his backyard, also has an ambulance for his ride!!!
